"I'll come," he said and walked with her.

Sarah nodded and walked up the stairs slowly, slightly scared. When she got to the top, she froze. There was a man standing there in the hallway, halfway into her parents' room. "Oh my God," she breathed in fear, wanting to scream. Panic rose in her chest. What was she supposed to do? Scream? Run? Call the cops? Her legs turned to jelly and suddenly she couldn't move. She was frozen in place, staring at the man that hadn't yet noticed them.

JJ looked at her. "Shh," he said quietly.

Sarah breathed shallowly, trying not to be heard. "Go call for help," she whispered almost inaudibly. Just then, the man turned and saw them. Sarah paled. The feeling came back to her legs and she rushed back down the stairs. "Run!" she yelped to JJ as the man began to chase after her.

JJ ran with her, taking her hand. "You need to hide," he said.

"Just get the h*ll out of here and get help," Sarah said urgently as they ran. She glanced back at the man behind them, and he was gaining. She whimpered and ran faster, though she didn't know where else she could go.

JJ went and called the police. He told them what was going on.

Jack was in his way over to check on them.

The man caught up to Sarah and grabbed her, dragging her out of the room. She kicked and screamed, knowing that this wouldn't end well if she didn't put up a fight. "Let me go!" The man still dragged her, shutting and locking the door to the kitchen so that JJ couldn't come after them. If Kris wasn't there, then Sarah was the next best thing.

(Should anybody actually get hurt?)

JJ looked over. "No!" He yelled and ran at the door, trying to break it down.

(Of course. (: I figured it'd add some drama)

"Shut up!" the man growled at Sarah as she continued to resist. When she didn't obey, he pulled a knife from his belt (similar to the one that killed Alanna) and sank it into her stomach. Sarah screamed, and the man quickly dropped her and fled the scene. His job was done, for the time being.
