Luke hugged her close to his side. "It's really good to have you back, you know. I missed you."

"I missed you too," she said. "It's good to have you back."

Luke smiled. "You know why?" He chuckled. "Cos I can do this again." He leaned down and kissed her nose, eyelids, cheeks, and finally her lips.

Kris smiled, kissing him back. "I missed that. You know what I missed most, though."

"Tell me, baby," Luke murmured against her lips.

"Your eyes. How soft they are when you watch me. How gentle they are," she said.

Luke pulled back and smiled softly, his eyes searching her face. "You missed my eyes?" He loved that she'd missed small things like that, just like he had.

Kris nodded. "Yeah," shr whispered.

Luke smiled and pressed his lips to her forehead. "I love you so much."
