JJ laughed. "Yes I know."

Sarah smirked. She said something under her breath in French, then lifted her head again. Her expression had become a bit more serious again. "JJ? You won't...you won't tell my parents about this, right? About Jake and I?"

"Of course not," he said.

Cecilie sighed in relief. "Thank you, JJ. You're a great friend."

"Well I try," he said. He looked down at her then at the clock to make sure he wasn't late for dinner.

Sarah still leaned into him. "Do you have to go?" she asked, slightly disappointed.

"No not yet. I have a few minutes," he said.

Sarah nodded. "Good." She still leaned into his side.

"Its Friday. You could come over if you want. "I'm sure Mom and Dad won't mind."

Sarah's eyes lit up. "Oh, could I?" she asked hopefully. All she wanted was to hang out with her best friend for a while.
