Sarah looked at Luke and giggled.

Luke laughed softly when Sarah's face broke out into a wide grin. "Look Kris, she looks just like you," he teased playfully before turning to finish cooking.

Kris chuckled. "You think?"

Luke smiled to himself, looking down at the pancakes he was preparing. "Actually, yes. You two have the same beautiful smile."

Kris blushed. "We only smile because you're here."

Luke smiled again at that and turned to face her. He loved her so much. "Good, because I'll be around for a long time." He walked to her and kissed her cheek, the pancakes momentarily forgotten.

Kris smiled. "Good. Now go check your pancakes."

Luke chuckled. "Yeah yeah yeah, pancakes." He turned back to the stove and flipped the pancakes.

Kris watched him. "They smell good."

Luke smiled brightly. "Thanks, Kris. I made them the way you like them, so hopefully they're alright."
