As Kris walked passed Luke, she placed a kiss on his temple.

Luke's eyes fluttered at the feeling of lips on his temple. It took a moment to become oriented, but he soon remembered. He smiled slightly. "Hi baby."

"Hi," she said, setting Sarah in her swing. "You sleep alright?" she asked, sitting on the edge by his side.

Luke cleared his throat a bit and sat up. "Yeah, I slept fine," he lied convincingly. "You?"

"Yeah I slept alright," he said, leaning against his chest. "But I missed you in bed with me."

Luke kissed her head. "Sorry, baby. I couldn't sleep and didn't want to wake you up, so I came down here." It was true.

"It's alright," she said, looking up at him.

Luke smiled a bit. "Good." Then he looked to Sarah. "Hi baby girl!"

Sarah giggled at him.

Luke laughed quietly and poked her nose playfully.
