Luke nodded. "Of course, baby. When things are settled again."

Kris nodded, dozing off.

Luke was in the kitchen, preparing dinner for his small family. He hummed to himself while he cooked.

Kris had been asleep for a while. She headed straight for bed when they got home. She was awake now though. She walked into the kitchen and pressed a kiss to Luke's shoulder.

Luke looked over at her and smiled gently. "Hey baby," he murmured. "How was your sleep?"

"It was alright," she said, laying her head on his shoulder.

Luke nodded and wrapped an arm around her. "How are you feeling?"

"Better," she said.

"Good," Luke said, kissing her head.
