Not many understand the comfort I get when I walk into a bookstore and take a deep breath as I look around. I feel at home; I feel welcome. I don't have to purchase anything. Being surrounded by books fills me with a sense of security.

Luke swore that his heart nearly stopped. His jaw dropped open and he struggled to find words. When he found them, all that he could stammer was, "Oh my God." He looked to Kris, his heart and stomach sinking.

Luke wrapped his arms around her and pulled her in close, pressing his lips to her hair. He didn't know what he could possibly do or say to comfort her while stuck in this state of shock.
