Luke swallowed and lifted his head, blinking. "I don't get anymore of what?" he asked curiously.

Kristyna smirked, looking at Luke innocently. "You heard."

It took Luke a moment to understand what she was saying, but then he caught on. He quickly sat up straight and cleared his throat. "Do you need anything, dear?"

She chuckled. "Mm, no. Not right now," she said.

"You sure? More water or anything? Is the room too cold?" Luke asked, suddenly very eager to be good.

Kristyna chuckled. "I'm fine, baby," she said.

"If you say so. Love you, sweetheart," he said quickly before pecking her cheek.

"Love you too," she said.

Luke flashed a grin and held two thumbs up before resuming his meal. All he could do was hope that he didn't screw up his chances, even if she had been joking.

Kristyna chuckled, eating again.

Alanna laughed. "You have him whipped now!" she said.
