Luke laced their fingers together beneath the table. His thumb stroked the back of her hand gently. When Alanna spoke, he looked up and smiled. "We've been great, thanks. Just lots of moving. What about you?"

Alanna smiled. "Yeah? I've been alright. Healthy, which is good."

Luke smiled and nodded. "Very good," he added. "You've been doing that well, huh?"

"Yeah, I have been," she said, smiling. "It's good, you know. Not having any problems."

Luke smiled. "I know the feeling. It's great that you've been feeling so well, though."

Alanna nodded. "Yeah. I'm glad I'll be around to watch this little bug grow up," she said, tickling Sarah's belly which made her laugh.

Luke smiled as he heard Sarah laugh. He loved that sound. "I'm glad you're here for that, too. She'll love you."

"I hope. I already adore her," Alanna said, smiling.

Luke smiled at that. "I knew you would." He chuckled softly, watching his daughter. "She's so happy."

She nodded. "She is," Alanna said. "Not without good reason. Look at her parents."
