Cecilie looked up at him. "But what if they don't?"

"They will, I promise," he said.

"I hope so. I don't want to lose you or upset them," Cecilie told him.

[bibliophile;]

"Cecilie, look at me. I love you, and even if they don't like you, you won't loose me. But they'll adore you. Mom won't shut up about meeting you and Dad's excited too."

Cecilie looked into his eyes and exhaled slowly. She nodded a bit. "I just hope they like me."

Jack nodded. "They will."

Cecilie kissed his nose gently. "Thank you, Jack."

"No problem, baby." He hugged her.
