Jack smiled and ruffled their hair.

The kids laughed and ran upstairs happily.

Cecilie smiled and looked to Jack. "They missed you a lot."

"I missed them too." He put an arm around her,

Cecilie kissed his cheek gently and leaned into him. "I know you did," she murmured.

He smiled, nodding. "I love you."

"Mm, I love you too." Cecilie smiled happily.

He kissed her, grinning. He was so I happy to be home.

Cecilie smiled happily and kissed him back. She'd missed him so much more than she could really even express. Every day he'd been gone, she'd worried about his safety or prayed that he would make it out of that day alive. Each day he would, and she would thank her lucky stars before going to bed. She hadn't gone through a second of his absence without thinking of him or wishing that he was there with her to hold her or even just look at her. She'd missed his love towards the children and towards herself.

Cecilie pulled back from the kiss and snuggled into him, much like JJ had done.
