Luke listened to her sleep, then hung up and smiled.

Kris snuggled into her pillows, and deeper into her covers.

Luke sighed to himself happily. He loved his Kris so much.

Kristyna loved him just as much, maybe a bit more back. She slept with a bear he'd gotten her one year every night.

Luke always kept a photo of Kris in his pocket to remind himself that she was his. He couldn't believe how lucky he was.

Cecilie curled up in bed and pulled out her laptop. It was almost time to Skype with Jack, which she was extremely excited for.
