Jack kissed their heads. "I'm gonna go talk to Emmy."

Luke laughed happily. "Yes?"

Cecilie nodded and let go of him, then hugged her brothers.

Kristyna laughed. "Nothing."

Jack walked up and into Emmy's room. "Knock Knock."

Luke grinned and kissed her forehead again.

Emmy looked up from her bed and sighed. She had been laying on her stomach with her head on her arms.

Jack walked in and sat by her. "Will you talk to me? Please?" he asked. "This is gonna be hard on everyone. It breaks my heart knowing I have to leave you, but I'll be back."

Emmy looked up at him and sighed. She sat up. "You're breaking my sister's heart, Jack. She's upset, I'm upset, the boys are upset...how do you expect us to feel? You and Cecilie are the glue that hold this family together, and with you gone and Cecilie depressed, I'll be the one in charge."

Jack sighed, rubbing his face. "I know everyone's upset, Emmy. But I really can't tell them no. There's this rule that says if you're the only boy in the family to carry on the name, you can't fight. But now that JJ's here, and he can carry on the name, then drafted me. I have no choice, and I'm sorry for that. I wish I could tell them no. I wish I could stay here with you guys, but I can't."

Emmy looked at him in frustration. "So that's it then? You're just leaving us? Come on, think of my sister! She's a wreck without you!"

Jack sighed. "I am thinking of her! I would turn it down faster than a heartbeat if I could, Emmy. You think I want to just leave my whole life behind? You guys are everything I live for!"

"Why can't you just do something bad like you did last time? You dated the opposite side and got kicked out! Why can't you do that again?" Emmy exclaimed.
