Cecilie buried her face into his chest. "Don't leave me," she whispered.

Kristyna smiled, and hugged him.

"I'm not leaving for good. This isn't goodbye, it's just see you later, okay?" he asked.

Luke hugged her back happily. He rested his cheek against the top of her head.

Cecilie nodded slightly, forcing herself to believe him.

Kristyna smiled, rubbing his back.

Jack kissed her head, sighing when he heard the bus pull up.

(I thought he didn't have to leave for a month?)

Luke chuckle softly. "I love you."

Cecilie sniffled and slowly sat up as she heard the school bus pull up. She wiped her eyes.

Kristyna smiled. "I love you too."

Jack watched as the kids got off the bus. Obviously they were gonna notice something was wrong.

Luke smiled and kissed her head. "Good."

Cecilie wiped her eyes again, but wasn't going to bother hiding what had happened.

Emmy led the boys from the bus and walked inside.
