Jack nodded. "Okay," he said, and smiled at her. The waiter came with the food. One set a tray down in front of Cecilie, and while she was distracted, Jack got in front of her on one knee, holding out a ring. The waiter uncovered the tray to reveal, "Will you marry me?" in Jack's handwriting.

Not many understand the comfort I get when I walk into a bookstore and take a deep breath as I look around. I feel at home; I feel welcome. I don't have to purchase anything. Being surrounded by books fills me with a sense of security.
