Maria showered quickly, then got out. She dressed in a pair of light blue jeans that were ripped at the knees and all up the thighs, an Asking Alexandria shirt, and blue converse. "So... While I was sick, since I had nothing to do, I applied for a few jobs. And One told me I could start as soon as I was better. So I start that tomorrow. I'll be a waitress at the big fancy place in town. The pay is good not to mention the tips."

Not many understand the comfort I get when I walk into a bookstore and take a deep breath as I look around. I feel at home; I feel welcome. I don't have to purchase anything. Being surrounded by books fills me with a sense of security.
