Chloe nodded, but stopped when her head started throbbing.

Jackson finished his food befor going up to Maria. "Hey, did you hear that thud?" He asked.

Myles sighed, and rubbed her arm.

Maria shook her head. "No, why? Is everything okay?"

Chloe looked at him, confused. "Where are we? I thought we were at the mall." She said.

Jackson shrugged. "I don't know, that's why I asked you."

Myles sighed, and picked her up. "No, we weren't at the mall," he said, and took her to the car.

Maria sighed, and flopped on the bed. "I didn't mean it like that, Jacks. I completely forgot that she used to stutter."

"Where are you taking me?" Chloe asked, panicking. "I don't know you! Get away from me!" She screamed.

Jackson sighed. "I know you didn't mean it like that. Chloe takes everything so seriously. She always has. Apparently, that has not changed."

Maria sighed. "She hates me again, though."

Jackson sighed. "She doesn't hate you."

Maria sighed. "You didn't see the look she gave me."
