Maria shook her head. She went into her bathroom, and removed all her waterproof make up. She had a bruise on her cheek, a few of them on her stomach, and a few little round marks on her shoulders, like they were burned. Her thighs had large bruises all over them, and her collar bone had a few bite marks on it. She walked out, crying. "That... wasn't the first time he hurt me," she said quietly.

Jackson looked at her, getting up. "You can't keep hiding this! You have to tell someone." He said, starting to walk out of her room.

"No, Jackson, please," she said. "Don't tell anyone. At least not yet. If Trinity sees all this, she'll be heart broken, and Dad'll go ballistic," she told him.

"And if he comes back, what happens then? What if Trinity's next? What if he hurts your dad?" Jackson said.

Maria sighed. "Okay. Go get my dad, but don't let Trin come in. Like I said, she'll be heart broken. She won't stop crying for days if she sees this. She worries when I get a paper cut," she said.

"And what are you going to tell her when daddy never comes because your dad will kill him, you know." He said. "We're showing your brother, and Chloe."

Maria sighed. "I'll tell her later. Later this week," she said.

"You're going to make her go through what Chloe went through. I was there when Brett got shot, but it never phased me. You can't do that to Trinity." Jackson said.

"No, I'm not. I just..." she said. "Fine," she said, going and standing by him. "I guess I'm telling everyone at once," she sighed, and ran her hand through her hair.

Jackson cupped her face in his hands. "Look at me. I will not let him hurt you again. Do you trust me?" He asked her. "Do you trust that I will keep you safe?" He asked.
