Maria smiled, and stood up. She hugged Mason when Jackson and Trinity left. "Mmm. Thank you, Dad. For everything. I haven't been as grateful as I should be lately."
Trinity giggled, and led him into her play room. "It gonna be a get well soon present, but she better now," she told him, getting it out of the bin. It was a bikini, and it was galaxy designed. Maria had always had a thing for space, and especially fantasy. She was a very avid Doctor Who fan. "I no find the one I wanted, though. It had a blue box on it," she said.

Not many understand the comfort I get when I walk into a bookstore and take a deep breath as I look around. I feel at home; I feel welcome. I don't have to purchase anything. Being surrounded by books fills me with a sense of security.
