"As desperate as we are?" He asked.

He laughed, and pulled her into him. He hadn't shaved in a few days, so he rubbed his chin on her so that she would giggle.

Maria nodded. "Yeah," she said.

"Ow! At scratchy." Anna said, pulling away from him.

Lucas hugged her. "We are desperate."

"No!" Anna frowned, hugging him. "At hurt." She cried, burrying her face in his chest.

"I love how she cries to you even if you were the one who hurt her." Chloe chuckled.

"I'm sorry I lost my job." Lucas said.

Myles hugged her. "It's okay," he said, and nodded at Chloe. "I know."

Maria shook her head. "It's not your fault."

Chloe smiled. "And then there is Ryan who is mad at everyone right now." She smirked.

Ryan frowned hiding his face.

Anna hugged Myles. "Dada no do at again."

"I got fired for staying here with you and Trin while you were sick or needed me too often. It is my fault." Lucas sighed.

Maria sighed. "No, it's my fault. I could have dealt with it, but I didn't."
