Hi everyone! I am really awkward when it comes to introductions so this might end up sounding like some cheap-o soap commercial. I'm BoxedSprouts, and like I said I suck at introductions. I have no idea where I'm going with this whyamIstilltyping..? Anyways, I am an avid role-player and would love to find a partner. I prefer 1x1 or small groups because I feel like it just makes the experience so much better. (There I go again with my 'I have no idea what I'm doing) So, there are a lot of things you should know right off the bat. You can find out the rest later *wink wink* ;D Just kidding....... don't give me that disapproving look ....I'll-I'll do better.
So, some quick things about me;
- I am in high school whilst juggling a job so my schedule can be pretty hectic. I hate to disappoint people so I will reply as often as I can even if that means from my cellular device. However this does mean once school starts, I can't reply as often as I would like but I will try to get at least a few replies in each day.
- I am in love with video games as well as anime. I know a lot of people do not like anime, but please do not take me as one of those 'so kawaii oh my desu kyaaa' fans. I think the imagination in anime is amazing as well as the art style. But eh. that's just me! ;o As for video games, what can I say? They are my guilty love, my oh so lovely love of all things love. I will not bring any of this up in our role plays, but if you want to talk just hit me up~
- Did I mention I'm awkward? If not, let me emphasize this fact. If you too know this word too well, I welcome you in open arms my dearest unknown brothern. Seeing this is my nature, do not be afraid to contact me! I love getting messages and responding and answering questions I know even 20% of the answer to. I'm not a judgmental person in the slightest so no worries. Just talk to me. Talk.to.me. Also I use an abundance of emotes when I talk to people via message. I do not use them in my role-play writing but talking to me you might get smothered to death with 'o-o's and ':p's and a butt-truck more. I just can't see your lovely face though, so emote me.
You probably just wanted to know how I am in role-plays amIright? So here you are:
- I am a semi-literate and up when it comes to writing level. I get quirks and such but I like proper grammar, spelling, and all that jazz. Three sentences is my bare minimum, and those sentences better be da-..darn fantastic. There is no maximum limit when you're with me! I tend to mirror my partner's length out of habit so we shall be about the same no matter what.
- I do not pretty my writing up, so no fancy text wizardry from me. [My form here is the fanciest thing I've ever done. 030] Seriously though, don't expect this from my posts. I adore those who put the effort in to coloring and shaping their text, by I stick to a center + small format and sometimes selective coloring. Though for my posts it's usually just the latter two. I don't include my signature either, because I feel like it distracts from the writing. Though Rin is quite marvelous.
- I don't like forms. Weird, yes? I prefer to just start typing and find out about my character/your character along the way. I think when you set a personality and perimeters before you begin, you limit yourself and the potential. To me at least, it's part of the fun to discover everything along the way. I mean I'll have the gender and an age but the rest just comes from writing. I totally understand that this isn't a lot of people's cup of tea, so sorry for this. unu
- I really prefer to play girls. I would be fine playing a guy, as I have done so plenty a time, but girls are my major preference. Also I prefer having at most two characters each because otherwise it's hard to focus on giving that character my all. I'm a bit of a scatter brain...
Okay, okay. More to specifics;
- I like romance but for the love of cheese fondue there must be a plot as well. Not just a 'boy and girl in love in Paris' kind of thing, so much nope. I also won't do animal role-plays, sorry guys! ;u; I prefer fantasy to the realistic genre, but an interesting plot is an interesting plot.
So things I would like, and stick with me here there is a lot;
- Almost any original fantasy idea. Any. Including but not limited to; mystery, horror, gods walk the earth/war with gods, angels and demons (though not the typical generic plot), medieval basis, futuristic plots, dragons, creatures of the night, average to powers type thing (though this should be original and new), pirates, knights/warriors, fate, mythology, etc. etc. I'm very open.
- Some based on games/shows/movies. This is very picky for me, though it can turn out great. A Blue Exorcist would be fantastic, Angel Beats, Dragon Age (either one), Mass Effect, Studio Ghibli, we could talk about it and see! ^-^
Pretty much the only things I won't do;
- Any type of pregnancy role-play. No.
- A role-play based on real people (celebrities, bands, etc). I don't have a problem with it, it's just not my thing.
- Animal role-plays. I don't care if it's a trainer or some cool plot where each character is given a spirit animal or something of the sort, but not where your character is say a wolf or horse.
Lastly, I love to create plots! I won't do it on my own, but with your help it would be lovely. I would love to share my ideas, so feel free to shoot me a pm to hear them/I could hear yours! Thanks for sticking with me, we all deserve a gold star.
