"Oho--Valic, are you going all kitty on me?" Joshua purred in response quietly, feeling Valic come closer. "I thought you were nothing but a cold, emotionless puppy dog."

"Should I feel offended by that? Or should it be a good thing?" Valic asked with a raised brow with a soft chuckle, pulling his head away to look the other in the eyes.

Joshua blew hair out of his face, grinning foolishly at Valic. "It can be whatever you want it to be. I don't want to crush your playful puppy spirits, do I~?"

Valic chuckled faintly and shook his head a little, petting his head gently as he sat up and found a tree - leaning back against it with a small sigh. He reached over and carefully pulled the other over so he was with him.

Joshua gave a content smile as he was tugged over, going limp in Valic's arms. With a gentle purr, the fallen angel nuzzled up against his Guardian. "Don't go easy on me now~"

"And what do you mean by that?" Valic asked with a hum in his voice, looking down at the other with a raised brow, giving a faint, almost unseen grin.

"Don't be afraid to take your stress out on me~" Joshua repeated himself, gazing into Valic's faded jade eyes.

Valic tipped his head - being as simple minded as he was, he didn't understand. But he shrugged it off mentally and acted as though he knew what the other meant.

"You're so clueless, Val-Val." Joshua teased, flicking Valic's nose lightly. "It's somehow cute."

Valic wrinkled his nose a little and rubbed it after the flick, "I may be clueless but when I know something - I know it well." He stated, leaning back farther onto the tree's bark and trunk, sighing in soft content. He pursed his lips a little and looked at him with a small smile.
