    { Aha, all I did this weekend was work, so I didn't do much this weekend either. xD Last night I was just going to a party with a few of my friends, so it wasn't anything too special. }

      Minako frowned slightly when her full name was mentioned, though she said nothing in protest. Hikiro only silently listened, raising an eyebrow at the mentioning of Kari being under the bed. What was she doing; trying to hide from the police after hearing about them? He didn't ask though as he watched her stick her head out of the bed, and grin up at him.

      "I already said I wasn't tired," Mihi mumbled as Yata talked about her falling asleep. Rolling onto her stomach, she wrapped her arms around the pillow and buried her face in it. Though there was no point in making up such a lie, she refused to let it slide when they pointed out her fatigue. Whether she was in her world or not, one thing wouldn't ever change about her; her stubbornness.

      Crouching down to glance under the bed at Kari, Hikiro listened to his friend talking about letting Minako sleep on his bed. Surprising; for once, his friend was actually paying mind to a girl. Of course, neither of the two girls in their dorm were normal, though, so it still felt as if Yata had no interest in a relationship at all.

      Giving his friend a doubtful look as he walked out of the room, leaving the two in his charge, he soon spoke to Kari, "We have some food in the kitchen, though I'm not sure what you'd like." He was guessing it would be pointless to just tell her to get food herself, since she'd probably sulk like earlier. Standing back up, he headed over to the doorway. "Should we just let both of them sleep in your room?" the blonde questioned, glancing over at Yata as he slumped down onto the couch.

Kari glared at Hikiro when he crouched down and looked under the bed; there was really no good reason as to why she glared at him, but it felt as if it would fit the situation. She did feel like an animal in a cave, and what animal would want someone else poking their heads into the cave? And so, she gave a quiet little growl before smiling playfully. Feeling as though she had enough with pretending to be a lower creature, she turned around to grab her crown and, with one last glance at 'Aru', she crawled out from under the bed.

"I don't care where either of them sleep; just make sure they don't make a scene." Yata said with a dismissive wave of his hand and a yawn. He had to get up, grab the blanket that should be on the arm of the of the couch, yet it was on the floor, before covering himself with it and laying back on the couch. "I'm really tired right now, so I don't want to put up with any foolishness." He added, taking off his glasses and tossing them onto the coffee table.
"What's a kitchen?" Kari ask suddenly after Yata had gone quiet.

      Hiro was somewhat amused when Kari glared at him, before growling. She was acting like an animal, one who's home had been invaded. And to think, the bed wasn't even hers; it was his friends. He didn't mention it though as she came out of the bed, standing up himself as well.

      Seeing that Minako had fallen silent, her face hidden by the pillow, he didn't bother saying anything more to her. She'd probably only end up denying anything he said, anyways. "I guess it might not be a good idea to have them both alone in the same room..." he thought aloud, after listening to his lazy friend. "They might get in another fight, so-" Hesitating for a second, he recalled the other girl's name. "Kari can sleep in my room. I'll just sleep out in the living room as well."

      After making up his mind, he turned back to face Kari after Yata had gotten quiet. He couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at her question; did they really not remember anything?
      "A kitchen's a place where food is put," he said with a small amused grin, putting his hands in his pockets as he turned and headed out of the bedroom, and over towards the kitchen. "You usually eat in them."

    { Should we timeskip in a bit? }

((Shall we timeskip before or after their kitchen adventure?))

Kari watched as Hiriko stuffed his hands in his pockets before he walked out the room, she followed him. Pockets. She remembered the word, well she did have them on her trousers. She remembered the word, she remembered the use, and yet it felt strange to see him put his hands in them. Well, she did have absolute no memory of using them. So she stuck her hands in her pockets and she giggled quietly. Hah, look at her using pockets! She wondered if she looked as natural as Hiro did as she walked with her hands in her pockets.

"I wanna eat something sweet." She said as they approached the kitchen. "Something really really sweet, like..." She trailed off and never finished. She didn't know which foods would be considered sweet, she honestly doesn't recall what sweet taste like. But she does remember that it's associated with good tasting food.

She stopped before they entered the kitchen and quickly grasped the back of Hiro's shirt. She was suddenly nervous, what if you had to fight things to get the food that is in a kitchen? Or something even worse! "There are no police in here, right?" She asked with a concerned gaze. Who knows what Minako hides in places that Kari would eventually go to; what if Minako knew that she was going to go to a kitchen, so she hid police in it? What if they try to eat her! Just because he wasn't going to feed her to police doesn't mean he'll help her escape from them.

    { Either way's fine with me. c: Which one would you prefer? }

      Hiro couldn't help but glance back over his shoulder just slightly at Kari, amusement flickering in his eyes when he saw that she was basically copying by putting her hands in her pockets. It looked absolutely ridiculous, but he couldn't help but just grin some as he returned his eyes to the kitchen. Taking a step onto the tiling, he rose a hand to flick on the light as he said, "I'm not sure if we have much sweet things..."

      Before he could switch on the light, he paused, glancing back at the brown haired girl when she grabbed his shirt, asking about the police. Really, what was up with the police and these two? Were the police vicious monsters from wherever they came from? The question gave him a small idea though; one which he couldn't resist.
      Turning his focus back to the dark kitchen, he put a fake worried look on his face, suddenly falling silent. "I don't think they are... But they might..."

      As the two went off on their little kitchen adventure, Minako had fallen completely silent. However, she soon had rose her head with a small frown, glancing around at the now empty room. The lack of people seemed to startle her, as she almost killed herself getting up off of the bed, and rushing out of the room. Once she had managed to get out of the room, she put her back up against the door, letting out a soundless sigh of relief.

      Of course, she probably was only making a fool of herself.

      Recollecting her composure, she silently glanced over at the backs of Hiro and Kari, before glancing over at Yata. Where'd the things on his face go? Silently and slowly going over, she picked up the glasses off of the coffee table, observing them.
      "Hey-" What was his name again? "Uh, what're these?"

((Hmm, I think I prefer....time skipping after the kitchen adventure. I do like kitchens :3 ))

They might?! That's what he said, he had said it! Kari inched closer to Hiriko, lightly pressing herself against his back; she was still clutching his shirt. "I knew Minako was trying to kill me." She hissed under her breath, mentally vowing to get revenge. "I'll bite her ears off as payback." She chuckled deviously. If only her vocabulary was wider, then she could think up of more bizarre, awkward, and creative punishments.

"Since Minako thought she could trick me by pretending not to hide police everywhere, I will need you to protect me while you're getting me food. That doesn't sound too hard. Then afterwards we will strike Minako in the cover of darkness and feed her to the police after I replace that crazy dress with suitable pants." Kari said loud enough for only Hiriko to hear. She had heard Minako leaving the bedroom, it seems like the girl came to spy. I won't allow her to get the upper hand!

Yata groaned as he slowly sat up, didn't she go to sleep? "Those are...my glasses." He answered, pausing to yawn. He blinked his eyes a few time to clear away the blurriness of sleep; it didn't really help do much, he didn't have his glasses on after all. "I need them to see." He continued, holding his hand out in her direction. He couldn't see her face clearly, nor could he see his glasses in her hand, so he held out his hand in hopes that she'll give it back to him.

"Why didn't you go to sleep, Minako?" Yata asked, "It was quite obvious that you were tired." If only she had fallen asleep, then she wouldn't be touching his stuff. Not only that, but she wouldn't be keeping him up either. He was only slightly annoyed though, it was better to have her talk to him than cause a commotion with Kari.

    { Lol, alright. cx And kitchens are pretty awesome. }

      Hikiro couldn't help the small look of amusement that flickered on his face as he listened to Kari; like the spark of a lighter. Though her blabbering about getting revenge on the other girl who had shown up was rather strange, he couldn't help but think that she was pretty lively.

      "Alright, that sounds like a plan," he said, lowering his voice as if they were discussing secrets. Reaching over, he carefully pried her hand off of his shirt, before starting to slowly take steps into the dark, looming kitchen. "I'll go first..."

      After a few seconds, his silhouette mixed in with the shadows, just as paint would blur away into water when mixed. His friend might've put up quite an act a bit ago, but he could as well; this time, with a more entertaining manner. Though it was pitch black in the kitchen, considering it was the only room that didn't have a window, he couldn't see anything, but he knew the place well enough to be able to find his way around.

      Grabbing the small kettle, he let it clatter down onto the countertop, as if something happened. "You were right, they're here!" he called over to Kari, his form hidden in the darkness.

      "Oh." While Kiro was putting up his little performance in the kitchen, Mihi allowed herself to sit down on the coffee table with the glasses in hands. Staring at them for a while as she absent-mindedly listened to him, she slid the glasses onto her face. Though, in the end, they only made everything blurry and hurt her head.

      "I don't get how you can see in these," she mumbled, taking them off and handing them to him. When he suddenly changed the topic, a frown slipped onto her face. Hadn't she already told him that she wasn't tired?

      "I already said; I'm not tired," she said, crossing her arms with a huff. Averting her eyes off to the side, she mumbled under her breath, "It was dark in there, anyways, and you guys all left without telling me." What if those police came in and ate her, while they weren't looking? They wouldn't have been able to get to her in time!

((I saw The Great and Powerful Oz last night, awesome movie with too much kissing at the end. Bleh! The kiss was long and unnecessary, no one wants to see all that. X3 ))

Kari watched as Hiro disappeared into the darkness, was the source of light for the room very far away? Maybe this room didn't have a...flameless candle. She glanced around worriedly, Minako wasn't paying any attention to them and she felt a little relieved. She almost jumped when a clang rang from the kitchen and Hiriko confirmed that the police were indeed hidden within that room. For a second, she froze. What was she to do know, she couldn't just leave him in there! Taking a deep breath, she raised her head and puffed out her chest. Looks like she has only one option. "I'll save you!"

She charged blindly into the kitchen. Her eyes were shut tight, she felt it made no difference whether they were open or not, it was too dark to see anyway. Maybe if she summoned Aru, then it would be able to fend off the police! After a second she was sure it was there, she could feel its tail brush against her leg. Its shoulders were up to her knees and she made sure to add a little muscle, so it could take care of those police easily.

Unfortunately, Aru was only there for a moment. The black dog had appeared in front of her and she didn't think to stop running, so she ran into it. Aru hadn't made a sound when it disappeared, causing her to fall over. "Ah!" There was a thud and a groan. Kari, who had appeared to have tripped over nothing, had barely managed to stop her head from slamming into the ground. "I'm ok." She called out, sounding winded. I hurt, but it wasn't that bad and she was grateful that only her body, and not her mind, remembered that she had felt pain worse than this. "If I die by the police, tell Minako that I will haunt her forever."

Meanwhile, Yata was ignoring the commotion in the kitchen. When handed his glasses, he quickly put them on. It was obvious that she had put them on, he had caught her hushed comment as she was handing them back to him. It was a pet peeve of his, people trying on his glasses just to test how blind he was, but he actually didn't mind when Minako put them on. For one, she probably expected to be able to see through them, which explained her disappointed mutter, and she didn't know the annoying habits of society.

"A lady should not lie, Minako." Yata commented as he removed his glasses and used the edge of his shirt to clean his lenses. "As I said earlier, it was obvious that you were tired." He continued, "Besides, if you had been paying attention to our conversation, you could have figured out that we were going to leave you alone in that room." Yata almost sighed as he put his glasses back on, what was he lecturing her for? "Would you like to sleep with the light on, or would you rather have Kari sleep in the room with you?" Yata asked, hoping to compromise. The sooner she sleeps, the sooner he sleeps; a win-win situation.

    { Ah, I've heard about that movie-- haven't seen it though. c: I kind of want to though, so I might sometime.
    And having a long kissing scene is probably one of the worst ways to end a great movie. xD }

      The loud thud and groan was unexpected to Hikiro-- though, he hadn't expected that she'd just go running blindly into the middle of the kitchen. All in all either way, he hadn't even expected for two random girls to just flash into their dorm room.

      Giving up the act, the blonde shuffled over to one of the kitchen walls, and switched on the light. Spotting Kari on the floor, he was tempted to raise one eyebrow at her. How did she even fall in the first place? There wasn't anything near her feet, so the only explanation could be that she clumsily tripped herself.

      "Don't worry, I got them," Hiro said, somewhat amused as the brown haired girl threatened to haunt Minako forever. Heading over to her, he crouched down, still wondering about how she went from acting brave to being sprawled out on the floor of his kitchen. "Are you alright?"

      Mihi was only halfway listening to Yata as he spoke, finding her eyes traveling over to the kitchen-- where quite the racket was being made. What were they doing in there? Squinting her eyes slightly to see better, she soon disregarded all the noise, and returned her focus to Yata. She hadn't gotten some of what he said, but she just made assumptions out of what she heard.

      Huffing, she pointed out, "You're not a lady, so you don't know that. And I already told you that I wasn't lying." When he suggested that Kari slept in the room with her, a small frown slipped up onto her face-- though, it was somewhat more like a pout. "Kari would throw me out of the window if I was left in a room with her." Even though he did have the upper hand here, and most of the things he were saying were reasonable and true, there was no way she was just going to give in to his lecturing. She wasn't some kindergarten student who would idly sit by and listen as they were told how to properly use crayons without breaking them, or something of the sort. And what kind of Queen would she be if she just let everyone make decisions for her?

((If you were in front of me right now, I'd be on my knees begging for your forgiveness. I am super-mega-ultra-very-extremely-excessively-massively-vastly-humongously-enormously-monumentally-tremendously-epically sorry for not replying, no, not even going onto CS for five days...straight. I may not have a valid excuse, but I have a good reason: Daylight savings time. That jacked up my internal schedules and my mood! For one, it took an hour off my weekend, totally not cool! This whole week I felt like I was waking up hours too early, even if it was really only one hour. Then I took a nap after school all week, 'cept today, and I don't take naps after school cause they end up making me feel like crap, but it was daylight savings time's fault for waking me up so early! Even now my eyes are chanting for an extra bit of sleep, and I would give in if it 6. It would be morning by the time I wake, which would be a waste of a Friday. Maybe I can sneak some coffee....Coffee sneaking mission was a success! ^^ I'm so stealthy I'm like a ninja! I'm like as stealthy as Naruto himself! .....After some thought, that doesn't sound like a compliment at all...Oh well! I'm hyped and I'm not sleepy anymore, haha! Wow, this is a big paragraph....I just finished my coffee T^T That was quick, it was good too! Mah! I have to stop rambling; there's sugar at the bottom of the cup, so sweet and yummy.))

Kari pushed herself up into a sitting position, trying, and failing, to suppress the pout that was threatening to puff out her cheeks. "I said I was ok." She huffed. It wasn't a complete lie, the pain was fading away, but it did hurt her pride. She was king, according to the crown on her head, and yet she couldn't fight off a couple of police. She wouldn't have minded much if this guy wasn't a civilian! Or was he?

"Hey, what's your name and status? Are you really a civilian?" Kari asked suddenly, her little depression suddenly overtaken by curiosity. Yata never did introduce him when they were stuck in that room. Now that she thought about it, Yata had said nothing about either of their statuses. Were they both civilians, or was that merely an assumption?

Kari had glanced over at Hikiro, he was crouching. He crouched a lot, at least when he was around her, but that was because she was usually on the ground, a fact that never seemed to enter her head. Maybe one day she could eventually get him to bow. And so, without much thought, if any, in that head of hers, she poked his left knee, then his right. She smiled a simple smile, why? Well, for the same reason she poked his knee: there was absolutely no reason. They were just thoughtless and childish actions.

Yata's sigh was silent, but he had noticeably sagged in defeat. Why did she continue to keep up a façade over something as trivial as being sleepy? "I don't see anything wrong with being tired." He murmured to himself. He was almost surprised to find himself feeling a little awkward. How did one deal with someone so...insistent over something so simple? Even Hiro wasn't this bad during his many annoying moments.

"I hope you don't mind sleeping with the light on then." He said with a little uncertainty. Here he was, tired and almost half asleep, sitting on the couch and having a conversation with a strange girl that didn't seem to want to compromise. "Unless you have any other ideas." He added softly, hoping that she wouldn't request anything difficult. At this point, he was willing to sleep on the floor, as long as it didn't upset her. Tomorrow, he decided, I need to figure out her pet peeves, so I can avoid them at all costs.
