"I do!" I shouted, eager to show off my brother's special military compass. I quickly pulled it out of my backpack and opened it up.

Amira

I sprinted to catch up with Cecile, I walked by her side. I looked at the compass she held, thats kinda cool.

[magpie!]

Adri

"Um... K? Which way is east? That is where the nearest forest is." I watched her expression closely.

[strawbewwy.]

I looked up when I heard someone mention a compass. "I do." I said, nervously, a small smile on my face, but Cecile already called out first. Oh well. I was too quiet anyways to be noticed usually.

Cecile

Trying not to brag, I spoke carefully as I walked. "My brother gave it to me. It's a military compass." I flipped open the latch and moved away the magnifying glass to reveal the pointer. I turned to Clarabell. "Do you know where the forest is, though? Does anyone?"

I shook my head, I actually didn't know. I haven't been here before and I never bothered to study the map. I followed behind Cecile, calmly.

Adri

"Far East." I retorted. "Just over that mountain." I pointed.

Amira

"Thats so cool!" I got all excited, then watched the people walk in front of me. I got nervous, of course.

Cecile

I tried to hide my excitement as we crossed a road, heading towards the looming mountain. I looked at my compass once more, before putting it away. "Well, this is strange." I whispered. "I thought I'd be travelling alone. No more talking to trees, I guess."

I raised an eyebrow as I heard the words 'Talking to trees' and glanced at Cecile.
