I clung on the branch, wondering if I should let them know that I was there. I was about to say something when jack peeked his head out of my warn denim backpack. He crawled up onto my shoulder "Jack!" I whispered "get back in the bag" as I tried to move him from my shoulder to the pack I slipped and fell off the branch, and landed right in the middle of the group below.

Just as I said those words, I heard a bark behind me. Dog? A stray dog! This would be fun. I would really like a dog companio... I heard the voice of another girl. Someone else? This was fate.
"Hello?" I called out. "The party's already kind of big..." I muttered to myself and I still felt something or someone was lingering in the trees.

[Kaiju~]

Cooper saw the small furry creature immediately and went bonkers. He ran straight ahead barking like a mad-dog. "COOOOPPPPEEERRRR!!!!" She yelled being dragged even further, he was too strong for her to stop him. "Look out!" Shanna called.

I heard mad barking and couldn't help myself. I left the group behind and headed towards the trees with wide eyes and a curious mind. Then, I saw the dog barking up at a tree and the girl holding on to the leash. "Hey!"

[Kaiju~]

"H-Hey!" Shanna called over, "Sorry about the noise, Cooper here has decided to go on a mad chase after something!" She yanked at the leash pulling him back, he snapped out of it giving a few more barks and sitting at her heels. "I'm Shanna!" She held out her hand in greeting to the new face.

At first, I didn't even respond to her. Stupid me, always in my own little world. I stared up in the tree. Now I really had the feeling there was someone or something up there. And not just a squirrel... I held my leather backpack tightly as I gazed upwards.

As I feel I was able to twist around so that I landed on my feet, but the impact still hurt. As I hit the ground I fell foward onto my knees. I glared at jack who was on the branch that I had just fallen from. He looked back at me with beady eyes and cocked his head to the side. I winced as I stood up and looked at all the faces around me "Hi?" I said weakly

I gasped as something fell from the tree, and jumped back. At first I thought it was a giant branch, but no. It was a girl. Someone else? Isn't our group big enough? "Hi." I said, bewildered, then turned to the girl with the dog. "Uh..."

[Kaiju~]

Shanna stood there her hand held out. ".....*Ahem*" She coughed purposely. Cooper walked over to the tree sniffing it, he let out a low growl sensing human presence. Shanna looked down at him with untrusting eyes, she was prepared for him to try jumping at the low branches. Suddenly it seemed people were falling from the sky! Shanna jumped back, pulling Cooper back with her. "H-hi..." She said, hoping this person was more friendly. She held out her hand t o help her up.

I looked away from the dog-girl. What did she say her name was? Shannon? Hanna?
I gazed back up at the tree this other person had fallen from. Gosh, that's a long way down. "Are you okay?" I asked her.
