Lost at Sea ;3

Eli smield. "Seawead is pretty good..." she said. Her voice seemed confident, but she slowly blushed at tht and turned her face and looked at the water.

Shawn smiled. "Yeah it is." He said and pat her head. "Especially around rice, with a little raw fish... and some octopus clippin's!" He laughed. Eli made a face at him and finally laughed.

I smile and keep walking, "So, what was your life like as a kid?" I ask Boone in particular "Like, did you have any siblings or anything like that?" I clarify

Shawn looked at her and took a deep breath. "Well, being a kid... challenging. Dad always came home drunk. Mom was always a coward. I once got in a brawl with him. Didnt turn out well." He said and looked at her.

Eli looked at them and smiled knowing the connection between them.

I nod, and think for a moment, "I'm lucky I never had trouble with my parents, other than them being embarresing." I smile slightly, remembering it. "I had this one best friend when I was little, we would do everything together. His name was Jacob, my dad would always tease me, saying he would be my boyfriend someday. I always hated that." Then I start wondering a bit, "I don't really remember what happened to Jacob, we lost touch after...." My voice trails off a bit, 'after I was attacked.' I say very quietly, and add silently when I lost touh with everyone "I think I heard that he moved. Anyway, he was the only real friend I had when I was a kid, I was-am- pretty antisocial most of the time."

Shawn smiled and put his arm around the two girls. "Well, no matter our pasts.." He said and looked at Destiny. "Lets make a future." he said and laughed. Eli blushed violently and turned her head. Shawn looked at her and chuckled a little. "Not that way Eli." He said and pat her head.

I laugh, and look around."Speaking of the future, I hope there's some food in mine." I say, patting my stomach, "There has to be something here..."

Shawn laughed and looked around. "and speaking of seaweed..." He said and grabbed some out of the water. He grabbed a plentiful of it. He looked through it and a couple crabs were there. He quickly grabbed them and popped one in his mouth. "m,mm..." He said quincing. "They're... tasteyyy..." He said and looked away. "Here... this should be something to settle your stomache." He said and gave her one.

I look at it uneasily but still eat it any way "it's not that bad... Kind of..."

Shawn laughed a little and gave one to Eli. She ate it and refused to spit it out, since the others didnt. after she swollowed it she turned and coughed.

"Lets..." He stuck his finger in the air. "go against the wind." He said. "They can track us, but the food would most likely be there." He said and looekd at them ."want to?"

~Destiny~
I nod, "That sounds like a good idea." I'm not sure why, but right now seems to be going really well. I mean, it's a pretty light-hearted mood, and not as ominous as it has been. It's sort of how I wished it would be, just us, no danger. Even if we were still stuck on the island, but no whatever this thing has been. That way, I could still know them, but not have to worry for my life. Before I thought about being able to go home, back to normal, and off the island. Now I realize, I would hate that. It'd be hard to go home and not know Shawn and Eli anymore.
