Lost at Sea ;3

Shawn looked at its tale and sighed. He pulled out a bright colored cloth from his back pocket and grabbed a nail. He looked around and grabbed a spoon off the counter. He looked at them, saying to turn away if they dont want to see what he is going to do. Eli did so. Shawn looked at the beast and took a deep breath. He placed the cloth on his shoulder and the nail above it. He then banged the spoon on it, sending the nail throuhg the cloth and into the skin. It was pretty easy, but also difficult. He got up and covered his mouth before gagging. He turned and went to the sink and coughed. "Thats to see if he followes..." He said coughing some more.

~Destiny~
I had turned away, knowing what he was going to do. However, an odd thought spikes my curiosity and I turn and go to it. "what color is the blood?" I ask quietly, while examining it myself. I can point out several veins and arteries, and the blood is a crimson color. "It seems to have the genetic makings of a real animal, so maybe it was possessed or something? It's certainly natural, maybe not where we're from, but it is natural."

Shawn looked at it and nodded. "yeah..." he said and went up to it and bent down a little. The eyes were fluttering a little and the breathing heavied. Shawn looked at the blood and poked his finger to it, squishing it around in his fingers. The blood started to thicken and crust the more he moved it aorund.

~Destiny~
"If this thing was possessed, then we'd know more about what were dealing with here." I try to remember all the exorcist movies I'd watched "maybe this place is just haunted. I don't know why it would be, though." I shrug alittle "Ancient burial ground?"

[Trynaety]

Shawn laughed a little. "You know that, that kind of stuff is false right?" He asked. He looked around. "Thouhg, an ancient indian barrial maybe." He said, trying to make a joke. He looked at Eli and whiped the blood off on the cloth. He sighed an dlooked around. "Lets get out of here.. .and find some food." He said and looked at eli.

~Destiny~
I shrug, "Well, after what we've seen so far, I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be aliens." Right when Shawn mentions food, my stomach growls "That sounds like a good idea." I smile.

[Trynaety]

Shawn nodded and looked at her with a smile. "Great." He said happily and went to the door opening it for them to walk out. Eli went out, grabing the rolling pin and holding it close to her person. She looked at Destiny and then Shawn. She dare not more any farther for she didnt want to be left behind.

I go outside and look around, "so what kind of food do you think we'll find?" I ask

Shawn looked at her. "the edible kind." He said with a slight smirk. He was still terrified that he was almost killed by that thng. He looked at his hand and his eyes hardened but also became red as dry tears weilded up. He looked up and sighed. He smiled some more and looked at the two. "But hey, at least we'll find somthing." He said .

I smile at his attempts at joking, but its not hard to tell that Ed still scared. I wish there was something I could do to help him, but it seems like playing along would be the best thing. If he knew that we could tell, it'd make him feel worse. "Maybe there will be some kind of berries." I say optimistically "If not, seaweed is always edible." I joke, although jut the thought of eating seaweed makes my stomach queasy. I'd rather eat grass.
