Lost at Sea ;3

Shawn nodded looking around. "Yeah, maybe." He said and looked at the sunset. "Well, we should stop here... Its going to be night is an hour or two." He said and looked at Eli. "Stay here, i'll look for some wood." He said looking at the two girls. He handed what ever was in his pockets to them and started walking out.

Eli didnt know what to do really. She didnt want him to go out alone, but she didnt want to follow, nor to be alone.

~Destiny~
I nod to Shawn, and look around the cave. I try to find something to do, but I really can't think of anything. "So..Eli, what was your life like before the crash?" I'm genuinely curious. It's something I usually try to do without asking questions, but I make an exception. I profile people, or try to find out why they're like. I don't know why, I guess I just like to know things.

[Trynaety]

Eli looked at her and rubbed her arms. "Well..." She began. "It, it is very nice there..." she said and took a deep breath and looked around the cave. "The, the sun is rather nice... its warm... and the animals are very friendly..." She said and smiled. "I once spent a day without eating up in the bard house, helping Shecka give birth to her fowl..." She said and looked at her. 'Shecka was my horse, she was a clidsdale, and a beautiful one at that..." she said.

Shawn looked around, the forest got dark every time he took a breath. he looked on the ground and found broken wood and branches. He picked up as much as he can. He was on his way back when sounds came around. They sounded like hyenas. He froze.

~Destiny~
I just smile and nod every one in awhile until I hear the word 'horse' and my head shoots up. "You have a horse? So do I. Mine's an American Quarter named Misty. Although, I've always admired the Clydesdale, my family breeds and shows American Quarter Horses. I do show-jumping." I explain, I look around a little. I can't tell the time too well but shouldn't Shawn be back by now? Hopefully he's back before it gets too dark.

[Trynaety]

Eli smiled and found a nice place to sit down. "I always liked the American Quarter horses." She said. she wrapped her arms around her legs and took a deep breath. "Shecka was our work horse, father let me stay home somedays to rais the fowl." She said and smiled. "Whats it like in your home town?" She asked.

(Oh by the way, she has an accent of Scandinavian, like a Swedish accent, like pewdipie<3<3))

Shawn looked around opening his eyes so he can see better. He looked around and found the path. 'just keep walking... nothing will get to us...' he thought. "just keep walking...'' He mumbled. He reached the cave and piled the wood. He paced a little to calm his nerves and he grabbed the flint and started the fire. He couldnt keep his mind off starting the fire. He thought that if he didnt, they were gonners.

~Destiny~
I think for a moment "Well, really close-knit. All the shops, and everything are owned by families, and you know everyone. It's like you have a big family, sort of. Most people live on farms or ranches, also. My family owned one of the more successful horse ranches, but we also had animals like chickens and sheep. I always liked taking care of the babies." I smile. For the first time today, I sort of miss home. And not just the places, the animals, but the people there too. I'm about to ask her what her hometown is like, when Shawn comes. I stand up quickly "Do you need any help?"

[Trynaety]

Shawn waved his hand at the entrence. "L-Look.. .watch." he studdered. He cursed several times as he dropped the flint. He looked at eli, who reached out for the flint. She looked up at Shawn and slowly lit the fire. It started to smoke and then caught flame. Eli whispered something to Shawn and patted his back. Shawn pulled away and put his hands over his ears. "D*m these things. They are everywhere..." He said and sighed.

~Destiny~
I watch Shawn, and reach out to help him before realizing, I have no clue how to. He looks distraught, and I'd like to comfort him, but I'm no good at these things. I hope I don't have to run in to whatever it was that scared him, though. I watch the direction he'd come from. Hopefully they leave us alone for the night, at least.

[Trynaety]

Noises surrounded the cave, eyes in the shadows. It was now dark and the fire elluminated the cave. Suddenly, without a warning, the noise, the eyes, everything, disappeared. Shawn was staring at the fire, with his arms around his legs. He had his head tilted as his eyes refused to close. He was so tired. Eli was already asleep, she can sleep through anything.

~Destiny~
At first I sit down and try to make myself small, try to disappear. Everything disappears in the physical world, but I can still hear it, still see it. Every moment since I walked into that mansion, playing in my mind. I shake my head again and walk over and place a hand on Shawn's shoulder. "You should try to follow Eli's lead and get some sleep." I decide I'll stay up and keep watch, there's no way I'm getting any sleep right now anyway.
