I inhaled a deep breath, "Melody, a couple a things. One, dad isn't home. I got off the phone with him an hour ago; he is still at work. Two, we are going to have a serious talk when I get home. And three, Get out now. Don't bother with the lights, just slowly get out of the house, go to the street, and call the police. I love you sweetie." I hung up and went back to my body.

"Serious talk.. Lecture... get out slowly.. death," Melody said as she slipped it into her pocket. She clapped her hand together "Ok, so! Don't bother with the lights-" she shrugged "Get out slowly!" she said and rolled her eyes "Lets go!" she grabbed her phone and dimmed it so the light didn't give them away. She snuck into the hallway pulling along her "friends" as she went.

Joe
I saw the girls walking toward the exit and I lunged at Melody.

Melody gave a soft scream and quickly dialed 911 after elbowing her attacker in the gut and kicked him away. She sprinted into the kitchen and looked for a weapon while holding the phone to her ear.

Joe
I doubled over for a second before vanishing into the darkness. I came up behind Melody and knocked the phone out her hand, twisted the knife to point at her own chin, and put her into a lock that she can't get away from all in one move. "Here we are. I guess I should be like every other bad guy and tell you why I'm here, and my motive, right? Before I kill you? Ok. Well you will be surprised you sent me." I smirked.

Girls
We all screamed and ran out the door and dialed 9-1-1.

Josie
I stayed behind, "I did. I sent him. Melody, don't you get it. You're done. Nobody wants you. So I'm going to... make you vanish." I smirked.

Joe
I tightened my grip on the knife. "Yup, and my dear niece asked me to do so. 'You know you will go to jail,'" I said in a fake girl voice, "well no sh*t Sherlock. Actually I broke out of prison to do this, so it doesn't matter if I go back."

Melody for once had tears in her eyes as fear coursed through her. "Josie, what's wrong with you?! What did I EVER do to you?!" She demanded through narrowed eyes and clenched teeth. "Fine, you make me vanish... Whatever but people WILL know that you two did this and your connection!" She snapped. Hoping the girls were calling 9-1-1

Josie
I laughed, "No one will know, because you are the only one who does know. After he kills you I will take the knife and ram it into my shoulder, then I go out crying saying I tried to help." I smiled evilly.

Girl
"Hello, 9-1-1. There is an intruder in the house. He has our friend with a knife to her throat."

9-1-1
"We are on our way, stay on the phone to make sure everyone stays ok."

Melody rolled her eyes and waved her hand in front of her nose "Try a breath mint next Time you laugh... Don't worry sweetie, I'm doing you a favor...." She sneered. She seized the moment and hooked her foot around the man's ankle and kicked, tripping him, then shoved Josie down. She sprinted for her dad's room where the guns were.

Josie
"Get her!" i screamed. After that I checked my breath, "Liar." I ran after her with Joe.

Melody let out a shaker sigh and scrambled to find the key for the gun cabinet. She bit her lip when she couldn't find it and locked herself in the closet and held it closed. A single tear fell from her eye but she wiped it away.
