"H-hello.. I'm Midnight, w-what's your n-name?" He gazed at the floor, silently apologising for shaking all the dust when he hadn't warned her. Letting out a small *squeak*, he stretched, bowing down to the floor for her. He felt grateful that she hadn't flew away, hardly anyone was his friends. Sure, he'd mated a few times, but then the females had flew up to the trees for their hibernation. Once he was fluttered off, he sighed each time and vowed he would see the hatchling, but he saw his first mate fly off a month after mating and the hatchling was well hidden. He was upset, but happy that no human eye could see it, let along a dragon.

The dragon was probably stuttering too much while talking to Shadow Angel. I'm Shadow... Shadow Angel. She replied to Midnight with a slow voice. You don't need to gaze at the floor in front of me, I'm not a queen, I'm just a dragon like you. She told to the dragon, probably being a bit rude telling that, but she saw that a bit strange. She is like him, she is also a dragon and she wanted to be treated like the other dragons. She didn't like that action at all.

Oh, you're not ok, you need something for that shoulder... Amor told to Jain. He searched quickly for something to help her with that deep cut on the shoulder. She's probably suffering much with that cut, it's very deep. He taught to himself while searching something seemly to put there. He found some big leaves on the floor. He grabbed them and came back near her. He covered Jain's shoulder with the leaves and put a creeper around the leaves to hold them. I promise you'll be ok. Amor told her slowly in a low voice, trying to cheer her up.

Midnight stood, rising to his full hight. He towered a small length between her, giving the impression he was a king. His wings flew to their full hight, making him look taller then he really was. As his head bowed lower, his eyes met with hers. Locking his eyes, his deep voice rumbled "Very well then, Shadow. Care to hunt?" He made a slight gesture to the lake then towards the forest. "Whatever you prefer" his sleeping voice purred. All humans who bared his voice, vicious as it was, fell asleep, in the cave of Sleep and Death. He normally slept there, unaffected by its poison.

Shadow Angel didn't like Midnight's actions pretty much. She saw them as a bit weird and she didn't like the way he was talking to her or the words he said. She didn't trust the dragon as much as the other dragons she found before for some reason. No, I don't... I can't... I never hunt without Amor and I'll never do it without him... I prefer to stay here. She told him giving a few steps back and looking to the side, opening her big black wings, preparing to start flying before the white dragon to do her something.

"Thank you," This elf was very caring, she could see that. She held the makeshift bandage to her shoulder, it was beginning to feel a little better. She would try to heal it with her powers again later. Right now, she just wanted to find out more about this kind stranger. "Who are you? What brings you to this part of the forest?" She asked, tilting her head slightly to watch him.

Faye

Her claws scraped at the ground as she half ran, half flew through the forest. Her sister was hurt and needed her! She made no effort to be quiet, crashing through the trees and bushes as she went. One final leap and she was at their campsite. She saw instantly that the situation had changed. Jain was crouched by the fire, holding her shoulder. The girl was gone...the girl! The girl hurt Jain! She hissed low in the back of her throat, she didn't like the girl anymore. There was a man there, and elf. He was next to Jain...what happened?! When did her get there? Where did he come from? She crouched low to the ground, ready to spring in any direction if she needed to. She looked at her sister...

Jain

When Faye crashed through to the campsite, Jain stood, wincing at the pain in her shoulder, and held out a hand toward her. "Wait, stop! It's okay! I'm okay."

Midnights red eyes showed panic, as if he was afraid she would leave him. "Please stay.. Your my only company for a 1004 years.." He sighed, gazing slowly at the floor. He had a habit of doing that when he was around cute females. He knew he wasn't that good looking, but he wasn't the worst looking.

She didn't trust the dragon. She didn't want to stay there without knowing better the dragon. Without Amor, everyone could do something to her and she couldn't defend herself from them. She was really confused she didn't know if she should stay there and trust the dragon or fly away from him. N-no... I can't... She replied to Midnight, giving quickly a few more steps back. She looked one last time to the dragon and flew away, trying to find Amor, hoping the dragon didn't follow her.

You're welcome. I'm Amor. Me and Shadow Angel, a big black dragon, I think you already saw her, we're walking over the forest and we found you here. And you are...? Amor told to Jain. Suddenly a dragon came over there very quickly and it seemed that he was in panic. He got a bit scared when the dragon got there but Jain seemed to know him so he stayed calm.

Jain and Faye

Faye shot a confused look between the redhead and the other man. Jain was hurt, but she had a bandage of leaves over her shoulder, and she didn't seem to see this man as a threat. The dragon stood, waiting for Jain to explain.

Jain walked over and placed a gentle hand on the dragon's snout, calming her and whispering in reassuring tones. "I'm fine, I promise. This man, he helped me. He is no danger to us." She patted Faye, who flipped her wings to her back and sat down, still a bit upset.

Walking back over to the now dying fire, Jain turned to their visitor. "My name is Jain. This is my sister, Faye," she gestured to the dragon, then, realizing that 'sister' was an odd description since they were obviously not of the same kind, she corrected: "Well, we were raised as sisters. We come from the Elf Kingdom of Forailin. We were out hunting, away from the towns and villages. Since the Curse, Faye is no longer safe where there are people. We travel a lot." She sat and put another piece of wood on the fire, and Faye breathed a gentle breeze of fire to get it going again. She turned to the man, and gestured for him to join her by the fire. "Please, have something to eat if you wish. Thank you for helping me. You said something about another dragon? A black one?"

She didn't trust the dragon. She didn't want to stay there without knowing better the dragon. Without Amor, everyone could do something to her and she couldn't defend herself from them. She was really confused she didn't know if she should stay there and trust the dragon or fly away from him. N-no... I can't... She replied to Midnight, giving quickly a few more steps back. She looked one last time to the dragon and flew away, trying to find Amor, hoping the dragon didn't follow her.

Midnight sighed "goodbye." Turning around, he slowly trudged back to his tree. He wanted to find a true mate, but he'd prefer a mate who wouldn't run from him, who loved him and would wack his head with a wing when other females passed. It sounded like his feeble excuse for his life

Shadow Angel flew a lot trying to find Amor, she had no idea where he could be, the forest was so big to find someone that fast. She was looking at every place, hoping to find him. While flying she looked back to see if the dragon followed her. She didn't see any dragon behind her so she got calmer. She landed on floor, nosing very quickly in every directions, trying to find Amor.

Thank you, but I don't want anything, I finished eating some time ago... He replied to Jain sitting in front of the fire as she did and looking at the dragon, Faye. Uhhh, about the dragon, yes, she's a black dragon. Shadow Angel. She's my best friend, we're like brothers. She didn't have a very happy life until now, I'm glad I found her, she's a great companion and friend... He told her when suddenly he heard someone. It was close to them. Amor looked back quicly. Is it another friend of yours? He told to Jain while trying to find the dragon. He couldn't see anyone, but he heard it very well.
