He nodded to her, making sure he didn't show how nice the scratching felt. It'd been a long time since a human had done this...
He glanced at the Sceptile and Mareep as they talked before turning back to the girl. "And you are... Candace."

[Whistle.Concert]

She nodded. "Yup. I'm Candace.."
She glanced up at the Minun, who was showing a bit more caution. "It's okay, sweetie. I'm not going to hurt you..."
She frowned as the electric rabbit sparked in response.

Frifth sighed and glanced back at his sister. "Sister, we're going into the Magma base. I think the girl is probably the least of our current problems. Besides," he muttered, "she's going to the infirmary. If she takes us with her, we can buy more time..."

[Whistle.Concert]

Inle frowned, hopping over as well. "I'm a bit unsure with how trusting she seems to be. I mean, what's stopping us from hurting her?"
She flinched as the Sceptile close by gave a small cough. "..Point taken."

"Sister, she'd from a Team. She can afford to be trusting. If she's wrong and something comes after her, her Pokemon- and all of Magma's available resources- would come to her aid. Remember, even in Aqua that was the case. We helped our own whenever we could."
It was always behind the boss' back, but still.

Inle gave a smallish nod, letting herself get scratched behind the ear. "True enough, I suppose..."
The cream and blue rabbit was still rather nervous, but her brother had a very good point. If they tried to hurt this girl, then Magma would have their hides.
She frowned.
Aqua was going to have this teams hide if that Luxray's plans worked.

((OOC: We're back! I presume from AA's post that we're continuing from where we left off- no timeskips or anything, right? Also, since Misdreavous is a ghost type, I just assume that they can do telapathy.))

Frith watched his sister, wondering what the Minun was thinking. She seemed concerned. Then again, concern was the usual emotion seen on everybody's faces lately. Noone knew what the future might hold; not even the Teams.

The Jolteon nodded to Ashoka, rasising his head as she started to walk. "Those who are with us, come now. If you wish to go back to the base, do so. Stick close to Aken; he'll keep everyone safe until you get back. Let's go."

The pickpocket raised his head, blinking sleep out of his eyes. He'd dosed off again... it was pretty bad now. Still, he couldn't help but smile a little. Trust had always been a difficult concept for the little band of Rogues, but still, his friends had positioned themselves in front of him, guarding him while he slept. Even the Trainer's Misdreavous, who must have been let out of her ball, was floating nearby.
He nodded to her, smiling sleepily. "Have I been feeding you?"
The ghost Pokemon turned to him, shaking its head slightly. "Your dreams have been good."
He looked up at the Pokemon. "Since all I can really do is sleep at present, you're welcome to give me nightmares and feed if you're hungry. At least some of us don't need to be starving."
She nodded her thanks, and turned away, returning to survey the other groups in the small infirmary.

[Whistle.Concert]

A small voice sounded from the back of the pack. "Yeah! Aken thought she was crazy! He told us to go with him if we thought so! So, Manetric, why didn't you go with him?"

"I was just thinking about Aqua's retaliation, is all." Inle mumbled. "i kind of hope they fail. For their sake. I mean. Cosmo'll be merciless."
She looked back. "But that's behind us now. I guess. If they want to do a dumb thing, who are we to stop them."
