(I know. But as rogues, they've learnt survival skills- one of those being know everything before you're told. No surprises means it's easier to survive. They've got different experiences, that's all. Theirs means they think she's silly.)
Both rogues were standing now, the electrician in front of Roy in a semi-defensive pose. The Deerling out didn't seem aggressive, but the others were, and they'd already seen the Growlithe break out of its ball. If they were going to fight, they were going to fight!
The Misdreavous was quickly filling her Trainer in. It was unfortunate the other human didn't know her well enough to understand her words- he would have to manage himself. Her Trainer smiled a little, being told of the Ninetales' reaction to the girl's story. Ah, how true it was.
Once, he was fighting for the Teams, too...
"Hey, kid," the electrician said quietly. "Don't look so defeated. You just said we can take him to the base. So unless your Growlithe or Crowbat attack us, I doubt we'll attack." He looked up at her. "But if you attack, we will defend ourselves.
So how about you stand up and we go to the base, hm? I'm sure you have some tragedy that's keeping you down- we all do. But you need to push through it." You need to not trust us. You have no idea what Pokemon we have, and what we'll do. Buck up!
The pickpocket had finally made it out of the base. He'd been right- his friends were waiting nearby. Too bad a Magma grunt had found them first. He narrowed his eyes, trying to make the girl out from this distance. Wasn't that the kid he'd met Leon with?
He increased his pace- moving quietly and hiding behind whatever he found, using his pickpocketing skills to remain unseen- and prayed Leon was following, and was following quietly. His hand moved to the only Pokeball on his belt, and he hoped that it would listen to him- at least enough to help out.
Thankyou for the beautiful banner, Levi Ackerman!
