Kody just continued to run, feeling a small tug. "No! We're not going back!"

"They're all hurt!" Candace responded. "I n-need to help them!"

Kody hissed, trying to drag her again. "There's hurt Pokemon this way!"

Isis got out of bed, quickly throwing on the usual Magma uniform. "So how are we going to get to this battle, Thoth?" She asked, expecting the Xatu to teleport her to her destination as usual. She went to grab her Pokeball belt, making sure each Pokeball was actually there. She needed all of her Pokemon for her plans to work half the time; it required a team effort, though mostly it seemed to be Apep, Aken and Thoth. She felt a bit bad about not using her female team members more often...
She couldn't risk Maat getting hurt. Mafdet was either too lazy or too vicious, depending on the day, and Anuket was more likely to try and make friends with the Aqua members. Besides, her strategy was a pretty good one, even if mostly used her boys.
Isis took a deep breath, before smirking. "Thoth, I'm ready. Let's go."

The pickpocket nodded to the little Charmeleon, choosing not to tell the Treecko that he could understand all Pokemon, not just the little fire-type. "If you're sure, pretty lady."

The Aqua grunt snorted. You think he'll believe me? He doesn't believe any of us! He doesn't care... why do you think I want to leave?
Now, if he could just drag himself out of this rut and get moving on that plan...

[Whistle.Concert]

Pepper grinned, before starting to head back to the infirmary, making sure not to drop any of her food as she carried it. It was going to very hungry people and Pokemon today, so it was very, very, very important that she didn't lose any of it!
Her tail flame seemed to waver as she concentrated hard about not dropping any of the food.

The pickpocket kept his distance from the Charmeleon, not wanting to distract her. "She's pretty cute," he commented to Leon. He watched the fire-type's tail glowing, realising how wrong he'd been. Somehow he'd expected Magma as a whole to be... scary.
He hadn't expected Leon giving him supplies, and he certainly hadn't expected the cook to be an excitable-and adorable- little Charmeleon!
I guess I'm biased. Against both Teams, really. Are they as bad as we all thought?

[Whistle.Concert]

"Jolly nature, eager to please." Leon said, watching the Charmeleon as well. "She's probably one of the nicer members of the base; Usually when we're trying to convince rouges to join we ask her to join the meetings."
He shrugged. "There's a couple of nice humans in the base as well; though they're hard to come by. Not because everyone's a jerk, but because we're all stressed out. There's going to be a full scale war soon, we think.."

Kaiba snorted. "We will leave soon enough; And by 'we' and I mean 'you'. I have yet to convince my master..."
The Lucario dropped Sneezy into one of the sinks, before going to place Birch's body in one of the back rooms, which was sort of like a Morgue.

Can you really handle staying here any longer? You said Cosmo dislikes you. I know you've been threatened before... Would you really stay? Besides, I won't go on my own. Mariah is barely handling it here anymore...I have to make her come with me.
He sighed, watching the Magma Sneasel, who looked annoyed at her position in the sink.

The pickpocket's face fell. "All out war..." Where would he fit in that? Where would any of the Rogues fit? He had no alliance with either Team, but... they couldn't just stand by and let it happen, could they?
He looked back up at Pepper, feeling a sudden rush of emotion. If Leon was right... if war broke out... with a personality like that, she'd be one of the casualties!
How could we have all let it get this bad?

[Whistle.Concert]

"If Richard wants me to stay, I will stay." Kaiba responded as he exited the back room and wandered back over to the sink. "I will remain loyal to my master until the end, I will defend this infirmary with my life. I will not let Magma destroy it, and I will not let Cosmo destroy it."
The Lucario smirked as he turned on the water, watching Sneezy flail around. "You are the most cat-like Sneasel I have ever met."

"That's why we've been trying to convince as many rouges to join as we can, even if it's only for the war...But our team's gotten a reputation..."
Leon gave a small, somewhat bitter laugh. "I can't imagine that we're any worse than Aqua, but there you go..."

The Aqua watched the Sneasel flailing around. Once, he would've been amused, but too much had happened lately. I understand. But... please, try and convince Richard; it's not safe here! He's one of the only clear-thinking humans here, surely he sees it! Other people had... they'd just had the guts to leave...

The pickpocket looked down. That wasn't an outright request, but it was good enough. What was he meant to tell the boy? "I... I've stuck with my group too long to leave them now."
They'd always said the loyalty was only while it suited. The other rogues probably assumed he'd left them already, but... If there was a war brewing, he had to find them. They had to decide together where they would stand...

[Whistle.Concert]

Kaiba nodded. "He had grown attatched to this little set of rooms; it will be hard to get him to part with them, but I shall try.."
The lucario promptly started trying to wash the sludge and blood off of Sneezy. "We need you to look somewhat presentable when you see Cosmo.."

If I see him, I'll try too.
The Aqua grunt could see that Kaiba was having trouble with the Sneasel, so he stepped forward to offer his help. Yes, the catweasel had very sharp claws, and yes, she was still covered in toxic sludge, but he wasn't even sure it really mattered anymore.

Ashley was curled up tight on the bed, blearily trying to watch the medical Pokemon. But she was having trouble keeping her eyes open at all. I wonder what's wrong with me?
