I'll miss him, to." They all would. He was well-liked amongst the base, and there would be many that would be sad to hear of his death. None more so than his partner. Please, don't let her break down completely...

Mariah shook her head. "I'm going to confirm that he's actually dead. I'm sure Mia made a mistake, that's all. I'm sure he's fine. Or the Doctor's helping him.."
She didn't sound sure as she spoke, though the way she held her head high showed that she was trying to take the situation at face value before she let her emotions swarm her. "And if he is dead, we'll prepare for the funeral. There's no time to be emotional about it..That can wait, I suppose.."
She closed her eyes and gave a deep sigh, before starting to head to the infirmary, Glaceon at her heels.

Leon had watched Piper leave the base, and followed after her curiously, carrying his Cyndaquil with him. He stopped by the base door, leaning against the door frame, mostly to stop the doors sliding back into position.
"Whatcha doing?" he asked, head tilted to the side ever so slightly, as if to feign innocence. However, he was actually curious as to what the fellow Magma was up to.

Piper jumped"Um"she mumbled, she didnt want to report that her main team had gone missing incase they got in trouble."out to train my team"she comnted.

"Can we train together then?" Leon asked, shifting the cyndaquil in his arms so it was more comfortable. "Hurry's been in a bit of a funk since his mum was paralyzed. Maybe a play battle would cheer him up a little bit?"

"That's not really how it works..." The Cyndaquil mumbled quietly.

Leon gave a small frown. "And why'd you have to hide that from me, exactly?" He asked, standing up and moving outside, the automated doors closing behind him. "It's not like I can stop you."
