Ash nodded to the Lucario, allowing herself to be escorted back to the bed, and watching as things started moving around her. Well, this had turned out better than she'd expected. She had her gear, and she wasn't in a cage! Still, she needed to probe...
"So, where do you think your boss took the Magmas? Nowhere with supplies, I hope!"

"Well, the girl has been taken to the holding cells...I still need to take the other girl there.." Kaiba flicked his ears. "Kind of funny that it was both girls who got caught, actually. Anyway, they'll be taken to the holding cages until we find out what to do with them. The boss wants to feed them to a Scolipede...But I don't see the point? Why not use them for information or even make them a ransom?"

Piers looked up as Mary entered, letting out a whimper. "Umm..Miss?"
His voice cracked as he tried to speak. "You couldn't spare some water, could you...?"

He nodded weakly. "I just...I just need water.."

Mary nodded tossing kippys ball and calling out water gun as he emerged, watcing as he used the attack on the vaporion.

Ash nodded. Hmm, either the Lucario was very trusting, or it was on her side. Why else would it give her that much information?
The Scolipede comment worried her, but she kept up her indifference, sitting back on the bed and fiddling with the IV drip as she spoke. "Hold them hostage? That's what I'd do. No point in killing them. Well, unless you want to make an example of them."
"Guess she'll be easy enough to handle. Won't even react!" She waved a hand in Kate's direction, trying to catch her attention, and smiling reassuringly at her. Don't worry, kid. I'm playing an angle!
