Ayumi wanted to roll her eyes at how arrogant and annoying most Akatsuki members were, but that would most likely just increase her headache. Of course she already noticed that, she just wanted to know why. "It's not like I didn't notice that already," she said, her voice cold, yet slightly wavering, as she placed one hand on the wall next to her to stable herself some more. She didn't want to show any weakness, but she couldn't help it. "What I want to know is what that reason is." Having a chance of getting out of here by now was hopeless, since she knew she'd probably collapse any second.

Gaara kept looking of to the side slightly for a few seconds, before nodding just a bit. Turning around, he started heading towards the door, mentally scolding himself for what he almost did. "I'll be going then," he said softly, glancing over his shoulder just slightly back at Ayaka.
{ Gaara really needs to take a social class. :u xD Maybe he can join Sai for a bit. }

Sasori sighed and rolled his eyes slightly. "I don't know. Ask the man who brought you here," he muttered sharply. "Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki."

Ayaka blinked before walking over to Gaara. "Is there anything else?" she asked gently. "You look like your mad at yourself for something." she chuckled softly and smiled up at the red-headed Kazekage.

{ Sure! xD It's all really because of the pain meds. I've been sleeping more during the day than I have during the night, to tell the truth. xDDD }

Ayumi frowned, not able to see the puppeteer clearly now. She was about to tell him that she tried that already, but she decided it would be pointless. At this point, she just wanted to throw her hands up into the air and scream from frustration. Instead, she turned around, despite her dizziness, and went off farther down the hallway. At some point, when she could tell her legs were about to give out any second, she quickly turned a corner and went in the first room she saw. Closing the door behind her, she fell back against the door, sliding down it until she was sitting on the ground, a weary expression on her face. Little did she know she had gone right into the office of the Akatsuki leader.
{ xD I feel so bad for Ayumi. I'm torturing her so much. C< Oh well. }

Gaara paused at the door of Ayaka's house, right after he had opened it and taken one step out. Turning around, his eyes fell on her's once again, and he just smiled softly at the girl- a smile unlike any of his other ones. Instead of answering her question, he reached out and put one hand on her head. "I'll tell you sometime else," he said softly. "Take care of yourself." With that, the red-headed Kazekage bid her goodbye before taking his leave.

Pein's head jotted up and his attention immediately fell to the girl lying on his floor. He let out a disgruntled sigh and stood up, glaring at her body. Knowing well Itachi was too weak to retrieve her, he picked her up angrily and marched towards the Uchiha's room.

Ayaka smiled softly, her stomach churning slightly at the sight of Gaara walking away. "I will," she said to no one in particular, before turning on her heels and walking back into her house. "I will . . ."

Ayumi's head snapped up when she heard a loud sigh, barely conscious anymore. Meeting a pair of purple ringed eyes in the dimly lighted room, she let out a slight grunt, annoyed at herself now for barging into the strange man's room. Great... she thought, her eyes closing even though she tried to stay awake. Muttering a curse under her breath before she was picked up by a pair of arms, the young woman gave into her hurt condition, slipping into unconsciousness.

Gaara was walking down one of the streets of Sunagakure, Temari walking somewhat behind him with her large fan. "You really should be working on paperwork," she muttered, glancing over at her younger brother slightly with a curious look. It wasn't normal for the Kazekage to not be working in the middle of the day, mostly with all the Akatsuki commotion going on lately.

Itachi had laid back on his bed, eyes closed and breathing softly.

Kankuro eyed his brother, before smirking and resting an elbow on the Kazekage's shoulder. "It's a girl, isn't it Gaara?" he chuckled.

Ayumi had been unconscious for quite a while, her back facing Itachi, the only movement the rising and falling of her chest. Slowly, the young woman started to regain consciousness, her senses coming back into focus. Instead of letting her eyes open to inspect her surroundings, she kept her chakra, breathing, and overall actions the same as if she was asleep, using her ears and 'sixth sense' to figure out most of what was happening. The first thing she obviously noticed was Itachi, since he was lying right there as if it was the most casual thing ever to be lying on the same bed with an enemy, but she wasn't exactly sure if he was awake or asleep. Back where I woke up first... she though, holding back a sigh. What strange thing would have happened this time? Another Akatsuki cloak?

{ Why is it that whenever my characters wake up, I always have to make it detailed? :u It's as if waking up is the most special thing in the world with my posts. }

Gaara paused in his step just slightly at his brother's teasing, glancing slightly over at his brown-haired brother. He only answered with a slight 'hn', before continuing on, Temari holding back laughter at how the Kazekage sometime acted when certain topics were brought up. "So, what's her name?" she asked, joining in on the interrogation.

Itachi rolled over slightly, before forcing himself up with a loud gasp filled with extreme pain. He groaned slightly and shook his head, standing up, trying to ignore the pain. But it only dragged him down to his knees. All from the damn Mangeyko Sharingan[i] he thought with a frustrated grunt.

Kankuro smirked and looked over at his sister. "Is she pretty? Someone we know? Do you like her? Are you in [i]loooooooooovvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeee little brother?" he chuckled, ruffling Gaara's hair.
