Ayumi only frowned, and shot the Uchiha a cold glare. She had known such a thing was possible, after thinking about what Kisame had said earlier, and the fact that she had woken up wearing an Akatsuki close and ring, but she was just absolutely denying the thought in her mind. "Nothing obligates me to do such a thing," she said, not caring to stop him from standing up, since if he collapsed once again she'd most likely leave the arrogant man lying on the floor next time. "Whoever thought I'd help the Akatsuki was a fool, and should've thought of someone else."

Gaara nodded after thinking about it for a second, wondering slightly how long she planned to help him when she spoke about 'later'. "Alright," he said with a slight chuckle as he glanced over down at her.

"I think Gaara would murder us if we did that," Temari pointed out bluntly, shivering slightly as she recalled her brother's past. "But... we could take the chance."

"And why would that be?" Ayumi snapped, frustrated and agitated by the raven-haired Uchiha. "I'm not some filthy traitor like you, who's going to betray their own village." She would say he didn't have a reason, but truthfully, she obviously knew he must've, due to the promise she made to Shisui.

Gaara nodded, slightly surprised she asked him that. "Why?" he asked, glancing over at her with an interested look.

Temari rolled her eyes in amusement, wondering how this would all end up. "Alright then," she said. "But if he asks who did it, don't expect me to take the blame."

Ayaka chuckled. "You always seem so deep in thought about everything. I think it's cute," she admitted, her cheeks flaring a light pink. "But anyways," she said, clearing her throat to throw off her blush, "Would you go to Iroh's and get the tea? I'll get the tea from Miyaka's," she mused, handing him her money with a smile.

Kankuro smirked. "I think we're about to get our chance, sis."

Ayumi only watched the Uchiha with a frown, not making any attempt to help him in any way. When he just fell back down onto the bed, she moved over slightly so that Uchiha wouldn't end up crushing her, since she was still sitting on the side of the bed. "You have no right to call me a fool when you won't even answer my own questions," she muttered coldly.

Anyways, shall we timeskip to maybe... When Pein ends up talking to Ayumi? Cause if we don't, Itachi might end up either crushing Ayumi { Whilethepervcontinuestothinkofdirtythings }, or Ayumi's going to completely snap at him. xD }

Gaara couldn't help the slight look of amusement on his face when Ayaka said she thought he looked cute when he was thinking. "Is that so?" he murmured to himself in amusement before listening to her ask him to get the tea from Iroh's. Nodding without hesitation, he reached over and gently moved her finger tips back over the money she had offered him. "I'll pay for the tea. It's the least I can do, since you've been helping me with my work."

Temari nodded with a wide grin, keeping her eyes locked on the two. "What's the plan?"

Gaara chuckled softly, before handing the brown-haired girl some money to get the tea from Miyaka's. "I might not be able to promise that," he said, knowing that he probably would try and convince her to let him pay again in a situation like this. As he glanced in the direction of the tea shop he was going to stop by, he spoke again. "I'm guessing I'll meet you back at my office?"

Temari nodded without a word, before quietly following her rambunctious brown-haired brother. I wonder how this is going to turn out...
