The moon had disappeared behind the raining clouds long enough for Kiba to escape the horrible scene he'd fallen victim to. His hand clutched his bleeding leg as he limped along through the woods, trying to forget the image of sharp claws digging into his chest as a pair of teeth sunk into the vein in his thigh. Akamaru had jumped on the beast that'd delivered the bite but was shaken off in only seconds. And now the rain was washing away the scent of blood, the scent of fear and the scent of the beast. Kiba knew what was going to happen next. He was going to bleed out and possibly die. But he didn't want to die. He wanted to go home, bandage his leg and go on with his normal life. He didn't want this to affect him even though he knew it might.
"Akamaru, go get help...get the medics." Kiba rasped, rubbing his dog's ears. He could see Konoha's gates up ahead, "I've gotten close enough...to the village"
As much as the ninja dog wanted to stay right by his master's side, they didn't have much time before Kiba couldn't move at all. Akamaru could smell of the severity of the wound and with slight hesitation, he shot off through Konoha's gate and headed straight for the Hokage's office; rain flying off his pelt in little streams.
"Man..." Kiba gritted his teeth against the firey pain and watched as his dog disappeared into the downpour, "I'm really screwed... at least we beat up the opponent a little bit."
In his heart, Kiba knew that the bite he'd recieve was not just a regular bite. There was heavy, mutated DNA on the teeth that'd made contact with his blood and Kiba was in for one bad experience with a little thing called lycanthropy.
