"Be careful!" Duskhowl called down, shifting his paws nervously.

"Yeah," Rockscar growled. "This mouse-brain's the problem."

Quickpaw crept down the hole, and a powerful scent hit her nose, one sh had missed when she first entered the cave. She couldn't remember what it was, but pressed herself against the ground as she continued.

Duskhowl shifted from paw to paw, but tried to force himself to calm down.

"What did he do?" Wildscratch asked.

[Fichester]

"There's something down here!" Quickpaw called to them. A low growl eminated from the hole, and a pair of glittering eyes appeared. It had a big red face, and she could see the silhouttes of little kits behind it. "Fox!" She screeched.

"He attacked me when I was stalking a squirrel," Rockscar meowed, glaring at him. Tallspring rolled his eyes. Embarrassment heated her pelt when she realized they were acting like a pair of kits fighting over a moss-ball. But our Clan has no home. It's small. We need food! She assured herself, though she still felt uneasy.

[Dessy]

"Quickpaw!" Dushhowl yowled. His fur fluffed up, and no matter how much he wanted to help, he wouldn't fit down the hole.

Wildscratch shook his head. "Can't you two get along?"

[Fichester]

Quickpaw scrambled up to the cavern, and struggled to get throug the hole. Fear shot through her, even though she was sure the fox wasn't actually following. Lakeyowl grabbed her scruff and hauled her out.

"No," Tallspring purred, catching her eyes. Mischief sparkled in his eyes and he grinned a cheeky smile.

Duskhowl gave her a quick look over. "Are you ok?" he asked.

Wildscratch rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, I'm ok," Quickpaw panted.
"Cat! Sistenda!" A rough voice growled behind them. Quickpaw looked over her shoulder and saw a dark-brown vixen, blinking her evil gold eyes. Her muscles rippled under her pelt as she stood on he rock.

"I'm not returning to camp until I catch something, so let me be," Rockscar growled, stalking off into the bushes.

Duskhowl whirled around. "Go away!" he growled, stepping infront of his apprentice.

"Just try to catch something, Tallspring." Wildscratch sighed, then padded off to hunt some more.

The fox ignored him. "Cur vos delicto? Mea hac domum. Eam tuus numquam. Vos meos occisurum kits, fecit tibi! Ut 'omnes sanguis acetabulis volo." She growled, lowering her massive head and taking a step forward. Palestripe growled. "Does anyone understand?" Lakeyowl asked. "No? Ok..."

Tallspring snorted, then stomped off in the opposite direction of the two.
