[Rivkah]

The Doctor raised an eyebrow. "Do you happen to mean the father of Lief Eriksson?" he asked suspiciously, chuckling softly. Erik was a common Viking name. Leaning toward her, he whispered, "Because I know him." Grinning, he straightened up, starting to run ahead. Maybe he could get her to run after him... It usually worked.

Xavia laughed, running after him. She smirked, deciding to surprise him. She increased her speed and power, tackling him once she was close enough. She didn't tackle him very roughly, it was rather gentle; as she could be rather strong when she wanted to be and didn't want to hurt him. Not that she doubted his strength. "Aha! Victory!"

[Rivkah]

Gasping, the Doctor rolled over on the ground as she tackled him. Beginning to laugh, he shoved her off lightly, staggering to his feet before he began to run again. This time, he kept glancing behind him so that the same thing wouldn't happen again. Eventually, he slowed down, pushing himself to the ground and sitting cross-legged. Yawning, he waited for her patiently.

Giggling, Xavia dashed after him, skidding to a stop and sliding to the ground beside him once she had caught up. She pricked her ears, gasping at the view they had of the ocean. "It's beautiful!" Smiling, she stared out at the expanse of shimmering blue.

The Doctor grinned. "You're acting like you've never seen the ocean before," he mused, tugging her down to sit beside him. The Doctor loved the water. Except when he was getting dunked in it so he could escape hostile aliens. Blinking, he yawned, stretching out. He rubbed his eyes, running a hand through his hair as he gazed at the ship, bobbing in the calm water. It was amazing, really. He hadn't spent much time with the Vikings.

Xavia shrugged, "It's been a long time." She said softly, gazing at the water. She frowned for a moment as he vision blurred, then cleared. She shrugged it away, thinking little of it. She curled her legs beneath her, curling her tail around them. "That's Erik's ship." Xavia commented quietly, watching the ship as well.

"Literally," he said cheerfully, lying down and staring up and the whitish-gray clouds. Sprawling out, he ran a hand through his crazy hair before commenting teasingly, "You didn't answer my question!" Nudging her roughly, he smirked, sitting back up. "Does your Eric happen to be Eric the Red, Father of Lief Ericson?" He nudged her once more, a bit more harder than the last time. He had to know. Eric was a common Norse name.

"Ow!" Xavia rubbed her side, "And.....maybe." She smirked. "I don't know....should I tell ya?" She grinned, leaning back on her elbows to look at the sky. "Nah, I don't think I will." Her eyes glinted mischievously as she gazed at the passing clouds. "That one looks like a ship." She murmured.

He grinned. "Don't change the subject." Calmly, he got to his feet, hands in his pockets as he began to walk away from her. Glancing back at her disappearing form with raised eyebrows, he called, "Oh come on! We came here to see and experience Viking culture! Not to laze around looking at clouds!" Smirking, he turned, beginning to run as he muttered under his breath with another grin, "Allons-y!" Sure, it had been the Doctor's idea to sit down, but now, sitting was boring.

Xavia rolled her eyes, standing and dashing after him. "Oi! You!" She laughed, catching up. She nudged his side, "That's for bruising my ribs." She smirked, 'And yes, Erik is indeed Erik the Red." She chuckled, pricking her ears forward. She soon had stripped off her jacket, tying it around her waist. All the running was a very good way to warm up.
