Aela nodded softly, handing bed Jade. "Poor girl is so scared... She doesn't like it." She kissed the baby's head and then Went just up the stairs to the other closet, gathering more blankets. She brought them down and placed them near the fire. Looking softly at chazz. "Hey worker bee, go sit."

James cleaned the blood around Kurk, growling softly. He then brought in two blankets and placed then over him before leaving the bathroom and sitting against the wall.

Nick nodded softly as he turned away to look at Iris again. He slowly made his way past Claire and knelt infront of her. Gently pulling her hands down, he called her name. "Iris, look at me baby."

Chazz turned to see Aela and smiled weakly "I'm fine." He walked over to her and gently kissed her before pulling away and going upstairs to James. He gently kicked his friends foot and nodded downstairs "Go eat and be with your family. Your daughter needs you I've got the kid"


Serenity hummed softly holding Jade close to her heart and rocked gently back and forth trying to help her ignore the howling winds outside. She glanced at max who was staring out into the dark.

Isis's eyes snapped open wide with panic and terror as she heard all the fights over and over in her head. Her breathing was ragged as she stared at Nick.

Amy tried to stand but wound up hitting the floor on her knees. "Son of a...." She closed her eyes tightly and struggled to stand up again using the bed as her support. Her body felt weak, but she was getting hungrier and was tired of staying in her room.

Jordan poked his head in the room and moved to Amys side. "Hey easy." He said softly, helping her stand. "You know you can throw a shoe at the wall and I'll be here."

James raised a brow but nodded. He stood up and sighed, shaking his head. "This is not what we all needed... I still do not understand how he attacked the woman who saved his sorry hide... I do not understand one bit." He sighed. He went down the hall to wash as much of the blood off as he could. He pulled off his jacket, and stuck it in the bath with hot water just in case. Then he headed downstairs, shaking his head. Jade whimpered and hiccuped against her mothers chest, shaking a bit. She looked up at her mother, then over at max, feeling a bit scared of the unknown man now. "Aww... My princess scared of the storm?" James asked as he walked over. He kissed her head, then Rennys "how's my queen?"

Aela kissed him back before he left and sighed. She looked at max "why hide in the shadows?"

Nick gently kissed her hands, then her head. "Hey, I'm right here, and I will not leave you alone ever again. I will stay right here by your side. Ok? I love you."

Amy chuckled softly and leaned against Jordan. "With 2 protective dogs and a baby in the house, I think not . don't need to spread house wide panic ". She smiled weakly and winced feel I'm her stomach growl loudly .

Serenity kept Jade close to her and kept rocking her gently "tired of everything falling apart ." she kept jade close to her heart as she rocked her and kissed her head softly but looked up when the winds howled louder and the lights flickered again.

Max kept his eyes locked outside on the darkness but stayed quiet lost in his thoughts.


Isis jerked forward hugging nick close shaking hard and breathing shakily.

"Meh, bow would get a bop in the nose and the German is so well trained I don't think he does." He chuckled softly, kissing her head. "Hungry? Let's get some rice in that empty belly."

"As am I... Perhaps when the snow is done we can head back to the cabin. A proper vacation." He said softly. Picking Denny up and carrying her to the couch, keeping her close. "Just, you, me, and our precious baby girl." He smiled softly. Jade nuzzles into his mother, shivering in fear a little, but having both her parents there started to calm her down.

Nick held her close, "my girl.. I'm so sorry I failed you... Let Claire finish bandaging you up ok? Then we can stay close together.

Amy pouted looking at Jordan "aaawwwww but dads chilli sounds good"

Isis pulled back a little shaking but froze when the power finally went out in the house making the bathroom then pitch black. Isis's breathing got shaky and her whole body trembled. At nicks there was always some light coming into the room, so she wasn't ever scared there, but here and now, in Amy's bathroom with no light what so ever to see by, Isis's fear began to grow. She'd been scared of the dark since she was a little girl, and had never been able to get over the fear.


When the power went out serenity looked at the ceiling than the fireplace with the already burning fire thanks to chazz. She smiled softly, grateful her friend thought ahead and cuddled close to james "what about your work? And I have to go back next week"

"Well ask for an extra week, family emergency. And I'm ok so long as Jordan keeps the fort down." He smiled.

"Crap.. Hey it's ok." He said softly.
"Hey I got this." Claire said as she put the flashlight on her phone. She sat it down, making the room bright again. "There. Now it's better. I'm gonna continue ok?"

Jordan laughed. "Ok let's just see if you can hold it down ok?"

Serenity chuckled lightly and looked at James. Her blonde hair seemed a bit lighter in the flow of the fire. "I'll see what I can do. I love you James."

Isis's eyes were wide in fear but she jerked away from Claire a little and pressed closer to nick like a wounded animal trying to escape from people even when they were trying to help it. Isis's head was starting to Pound which was making her tired.

Amy squirmed a little in excitement but had yelped when the power went out. It always freaked her out when the power went out suddenly like that. She looked at Jordan and frowned "hey.....where's kurk being held right now?"

"Easy there." He said softly, kissing her head. He took a deep breath and sighed, wincing at the thought of the scene. "He's in iris's bathroom. Chaz has his eyes on him now."

"And I love you." He smiled and kissed her lovingly.

"Hey it's ok. She won't hurt you. I'll be right here ok?" He said, rubbing her back.
"It'll just take a moment ok?"

Amy tensened a little but sighed and nodded "alright.... Let's just hope everything works out". She grabbed her phone off the bedside table and turned it on for a light to see.

Serenity smiled in the kids and relaxed. When she broke the kiss she looked down at jade and smiled softly.

Isis kept herself close to nick trembling slightly
