"I want them OUT of there, do you hear?! Send in a group from inland, and exterminate their damn posse already!" Rorty hollared into a phone, sitting in his office. He slammed the phone down, his body guards barely flinching.
Julia waited for a second, until she head a female's voice who identified herself as Natasha Romanoff.
The Natasha Romanoff? Stunned and puzzled, Julia didn't say anything, when a male's voice took over. She listened carefully to the voice on the phone, letting go of her suitcase handle and dropping her chocolate colored teddy bear onto a nearby armchair, hugging her stomach with one hand, other hand holding to phone up to her ear.
"......Clint?" she asked quietly after a pause. It had felt like ages since the WCA had split up, and she'd last spoken to Clint. He had been the leader, not to mention an amazing friend, so she'd been upset when the group didn't work out. She could barely believe her ears, not to mention she was quite confused. Then she realized he had asked her a question.
"I'm in the Stark tower, I....nobody's here." she told him quickly. Her eyebrows furrowed as she looked at the carpet, pacing circles - it was a habit she had when she was concentrating.
"Are you okay?" she felt obliged to ask, bottom lip jutting out a little - another habit of concentration.
Eli trotted up the stairs, another cigarette in hand, the other trailing on the banister until he reached the roof of the building. There was a guard on top, who was keeping an eye out with his pistol and binoculars. Eli paced onto the roof, it's high walls just up to his waist like a sort of castle perch. One hand in his pants pocket, the other with cigarette in balance, motioned lazily at the bundle of people down below, fighting outside.
"That guy..that Loki guy, he's on our side, right?" Eli asked leaning onto the concrete wall with his elbows, bending one knee comfortably around his supporting leg. He didn't bother to listen to the man's reply, for he had already found the answer in the man's jumbled thoughts.
"Hmm, letsee.." he muttered, taking a drag as a greenish fog formed lightly around his hands. Eli faced a palm loosely at the brute man with the hammer, flicking his hand to the side a little, which, on the ground should have translated into the blonde hulking man being thrown into the dust atleast a few yard away. The hammer he was holding, however, promised resistance to his powers.
Eli couldn't be bothered to try to get the tool to bow to his command. He honestly couldn't keep his attention on it, as he looked at the red metal suit as well, a blue orb pulsating from it's hand. Eli made a fist just as it was aimed towards Loki, intending for the blast of energy to simply evaporate in its tracks and do no damage. He moved on to the third target, a strange looking girl who was trying to topple Loki.
"Hm, I don't think so." Eli muttered, ignoring the guard who gawked at him, and made another swiping motion, hoping to fling the girl back a few feet.
"Ooh, what have we here..." he grinned, curiously sifting through some of her recent thoughts. "Stealing government information. Naughty, naughty." he sighed in a sing-song voice, waving his hand around to conjure the little electronic device away from her and hover it in the air, contemplating whether to crush it, bring it back to him, or merely make her play fetch for it.
