((Oi, sorry these took so long to make!!
Also, I saw the president wasn't taken, so I decided to be him, if that's okay! I won't use him too heavily, if you don't want me to. I just thought I could stir up some drama with him ;D I just made one up so no political debates would happen XD Also, I might get a lot of stuff wrong, because 1) I'm not into politics 2) I'm Canadian?
But he's kind of a corrupt president anyways. I mean getting rid of the Avengers? Who does that?! XD))

~Basic Information~Full Name: Phillip Leonard Rorty
Codename: President Rorty/Mr.Rorty
Gender: Male
Super-human Abilities: Very persuasive, great actor, master of deception. He's still a human, but has managed to win his was into the white house. He's a vigorous competitor, and although he is old, he still possesses his training and knowledge from being a general in the military.
~Beyond The Obvious~Personality: Rorty is a to-the-point, straight-up, no bullsh*t man. If he wants something done it WILL get done, no matter what it takes. He's a hardened person who's head is wrapped around his authority and hierarchy, and never showed much tenderness even as a child. This man is seldom to be messed with, and is highly respected in all walks of life, even though not all of his opinions are agreed with.
History: A Californian native, Phillip grew up in a strict Christian family, with numerous brothers and sisters. He was the average child, pushed to his limits by his over-achieving lawyer father and airforce mother. He grew up a solemn child, but always took leadership when possible, able to steer his peers in the right direction and get them to work together even in the path of disagreement.
Rorty flew through highschool with flying colours, directly under the wind of Harvard business school. After he graduated, he immediately went into the military. A little late (an older man than most recruits), he was scrutinized and forced to work hard. However, he did prevail and clawed his way up the ranks in record time, making his name known as a marine general.
Eventually after years in battle, Rorty retired, but found himself unsatisfied with the boring life after the marines, so he got involved in his community, and further into politics, and eventually ran for President. After a vicious campaign, Rorty emerged as the new President of The United States and head of government. Now being a loyal american marine, he despised the Avengers, and through they only brought along destruction wherever they went, and the world didn't need them anymore. For example, Thor coming to earth only brought Loki in tail. Wanting minimal damages to his OWN battalion, Rorty devised the plan of hiring Loki to exterminate the Avengers, in turn, promising him riches. However, Rorty still is undecided whether to keep his promise or to turn against Loki as soon as the Avengers are out of the picture.
He currently resides in the White House in Washington, but still directly orders all CIA and government procedures in New York
Loyalty: Government.
Love Life: Is married to Mrs. Rorty, the first lady. Eli and Julia are both his biological children but with different mothers. Phillip and Eli are aware of this, Julia is not.

~Basic Information~Full Name: Julia Carpenter
Codename: Arachne
Gender: Female
Super-human abilities: Enhanced speed and reflexes, above average strength and stamina, extraordinary endurance. She has similar traits to Spider-man: she can spin webs from her wrists naturally, as well as stick to a number of surfaces. Also, she has a bite than
can be poisonous, however, she hasn't experimented with this much.
~Beyond The Obvious~Personality: Julia is your usual girl, loves to shop, do her hair and makeup, flirt with cute boys and write letters in loopy handwriting. She's only 20, but still acts like a teen, though often times a lot more is expected of her. She's a bubbly, playful person at heart, but like most girls, she can get really harsh, sarcastic and catty if she's provoked (or even if she's just having a bad day, you know how it is). If she wants to, she can tear your very being apart with only her words, as anticipated from a stressed out girl like her. Otherwise, Julia mimics the original Spiderman's humor, and often tries to be light-hearted about about even the stickiest situations. Again, however, she can become very serious or emotional if she needs be, or if something really strikes a chord in her. Overall though, Julia is a typical girl at heart, simply blessed (or burdened?) with powers and a responsibility to use them.

History: (WARNING: This history is VERY different from the ACTUAL marvel character's history. I completely re-created her history to fit this roleplay. Please don't quote it/depend on it, etc.) As far as Julia is concerned, she's been an

orphan all her life. However, whenever you think 'orphan', she isn't the first thing that pops into your head. Julia grew up in California with an average family who could provide for her very well. She had loving foster parents, her own room, her own car, and occasionally a designer dress or purse her and there. She wasn't the usual sob story that tends to come with the label: "Adopted". Living a completely normal, happy life with good friends and a loving family, Julia was involved in tons of sports like volleyball and track, as well as learning to play the piano and taking up singing. She had a really good thing going until she went to college. There, naive and innocent, she thought she'd fallen in love with a boy called Larry. Soon after they met, Larry seduced her, and she was soon pregnant. Of course, Larry wanted nothing to do with the baby at first, but eventually agreed to help raise it. Julia wasn't ecstatic, but she was still planning to keeping the baby and raising it herself. Unfortunately, she had a miscarriage, and fell into a deep depression after Larry left, accusing her of faking the pregnancy because she was too humiliated to let him see the stillborn fetus at the hospital.
During this time, her friend and roommate Melissa offered Julia an opportunity to be a test subject for a new enhancement serum they'd created on the campus. Although risky, Julia accepted, so deep in depression she decided she didn't have much to live for any longer, since her education had gone down the drain. The serum was meant to enhance her 6 senses using plant and arachnid DNA from the amazon, but ended up giving Julia her abilities.
At first Julia was mortified, and ran away to re-cooperate and start-over. That's when she met the West Coast Avengers, helping them fight crime for a while. After they broke up and scattered, Julia went rogue for almost a year, keeping a low profile, until she decided she needed to get back to doing something useful with her secret identity, so she's heading to New York to join the Avengers. Unfortunately, she didn't pick the most convenient time to seek them out.
Loyalty: Avengers
Love Life: Recently engaged to Larry, their dispute caused them never to settle.
~Basic Information~Fulll Name:Elias Rorty McAllisterCodename: Eli (Pronounced
'ee-lie')
Gender: Male
Super-human abilities: Eli's powers are difficult to explain, since he doesn't fully understand them either. He is sure of having a really strong mind, so telepathy and telekinesis are extremely easy for him. He's extremely good at reading people's thoughts as well as blocking them out, and moving/manipulating objects easily with only the use of him mind, though it helps if he can see them as well. These are his known, strong points, but other than that, Eli also emits a blue-green foggy energy source from his fingers that he believes is a form of magic. He hasn't experimented with it much except for finding out that it makes moving things easier. He's also managed to fabricate some things out of thin air with this power. It took more focus than he cared to grant, so he's never really found out the exact limit to his powers, however he presumes he could move whole buildings if he so cared.
~Beyond The Obvious~Personality: Eli is, for lack of better words, lazy. Plain and simple, he just does not give a f*ck. All his life, Eli has just felt like people bothered and nagged him. Maybe it was just that his curiosity forced him to read almost every mind he crossed. And he crossed a lot of minds. And not all of them were pleasant.
When somebody asks Eli to do something, he usually doesn't do it unless you annoy him enough, and goes about it sulking and using his powers instead of physically doing it. Eli is generally trying to cause mischief for fun, or trying to get a girl to make out with him in his spare time. And he has a lot of spare time.Eli is really relaxed and chill, maybe too much so. He seems not to have a care in the world, but for some reason sticks around the Government even though he hates them. Sometimes he can be quite cheeky and cocky, but in the rare occasion where he actually seems to be genuinely caring, you'll know it, and it'll be truly and honestly caring, because he has a "no-phony" policy. Much of the time, being able to brows thoughts and all, he can see how big of liars some people can be, and he tries not to be like them, so he'll be straight up and frank with you if he wants to let you know something. Perhaps, again, it's a side affect of his powers - he reads everyone's thoughts, maybe it's his duty to just voice his own. Also, if you're the right kind of mischievous person, Eli can be a TON of fun and a really amusing friend. He's up for almost anything if you are.
History: Eli doesn't have as complicated history as he does a personality. He grew up with his mom, Jane McAllister who raised him into his teens. Around then, Phillip Rorty, his dad (who had divorced Jane) decided to take custody of him. This might have bothered any other kid (your biological dad, who's the president, popping up out of nowhere and ripping you out of your own life), but Eli seemed like he couldn't care less, or at least didn't show it. Now, he's into his mid 20's and is still hanging around the Government, when he has full legal rights to go back to his mom, or leave for good. Perhaps he hasn't decided yet, but for now, his dad is trying to get him to be a part of the Government CIA, with his gift and all. being his lazy, unwilling self, Eli does so, but reluctantly. He was recently on a mission in Australia when he spent near to a year reading thoughts of their Government officials and conveying any information to the CIA. However, after almost 6 months, nothing useful or threatening came in, despite their theories of a nuclear warfare plant somewhere on the island, so Eli was sent back to the states and based in New York. His dad now wants him to help with exterminating the Avengers.
