I smirk, as she gets tossed straight back, stone cold like the rest of them I'd tried it on were. "Your girlfriend is stupid, Barton." I tut, shaking my head slightly at her idiocy, "Perhaps maybe you should rethink your choices. If you'd let me expand your mind-" A pause, "Perhaps things like this wouldn't keep happening. She's hurt you. She's going to hurt you again. You deserve the world and more, Barton - you of all people believe that. I can help you get that. I can help you get what should be yours."

I glared at Natasha, clenching my hand around the dagger hilt as I was commanded to go off and sound the alarm. "Yes, sir." I said obediently, resheathing my dagger and standing up. "Be careful." I muttered under my breath as I passed him. I walked off to the nearest office and pressed the big red button on the desk for the second time that day.

Everything finally clicked together and Clint snarled at Loki. "Then you don't know what true worth is. You don't know what I deserve either." He stepped closer to him, but just out of reach if Loki tried to touch with that spear again. Speaking only he could hear, he continued. "I didn't tell you everything. I didn't tell you how I've killed too many innocent people to deserve anything. Nothing you could ever offer would replace Nat. We work as one and that stick of yours won't change anything. So how about this. I don't care if you brainwash me or whatever again, just let her go and never try and take her again." His eyes narrowed as he shot an explosive arrow at the force field. "I'd recommend you tale it, because that the best you'll get." As guards slowly gathered around them, Clint glared and shot another at the blue wall.

I stare at him, "You'd sacrifice yourself for her?" I flash a sadistic grin, letting go of the force field and gesturing for the guards to grab Barton, "Oh, and someone get the b*tch." I hiss, leading the group of guards off to where I wanted them to toss Barton. Natasha would just /looooveee/ this.

The pain from the shock of the forcefield was a lot stronger than what Natasha had been expecting but it had been her last ditch effort to create a distraction for Barton to get away but it hadn't succeeded but she didn't know that yet. Natasha could vaguely hear voices around her and could easily make out Barton's strong clear voice even if she was too out of it be able to tell what he was saying. She tried to force her eyes open but they only flickered open once and then stayed shut.

Clint shook off the guards fairly easily, not even using a weapon. He only used a glare to keep people from taking Natasha. "No. Not yet. She's let go first, and then I'll hold back. I'm staying right here, Loki." When a guard tried to sneak up on him, and sent him flying back without even looking. "You better keep your promise, or I'll after you, enslaved or not. Do you hear me?"

He noticed Natasha move slightly. Pickin her up gently, he waited for Loki's reply.

"I keep promises. Walk her out. I'll come with you. If she tries anything-" I hiss lowly at the two of them, gesturing for the goons to walk away a couple metres. They oblige, obviously, and I grab Clint by the back of his neck, leading him to the exit, "Why do you want to save her so badly?"

Natasha felt something reach out and pick her up and she tensed for a second but relaxed when she realized that it was Barton. She didn't understand a single thing that was going on as her mind was still trying to work things back together but she figured out enough. She began stirring and fighting her eyes open. "Barton, what the h*ll are you doing?" she rasped out. She couldn't do too much about what was happening but that she wasn't going to stop her.
