I smiled slightly at his words and looked up at him through my eyelashes. "I can't loose you either. You're the only person I have left." I said quietly.

If I miss, it means I'm just another dude with a bow. It means I've been fooling myself this whole time. And that's why I never miss.

"Happy? Yeah, I..." Clint sucked in a breath as a sudden wave of pain hit. "I don't know anymore, Nat. That's what I used to think, but there are too many things that don't fit together. Everyday, I remember more about what it was like before this. Everything starts to feel wrong. Like Loki's pulling my brain out again and he's messing it all up. Stuffing something else in; unmaking me. And then I take a step back and try to look at the big picture, but the Tessaract comes in and stops it."

Natasha Romanoff

"Your being sucked into freedom Barton, snap out of it, Loki is supreme." replied Natasha's voice. The real Natasha was snarling at it but she had been fighting for so long now it was just easier to fade, allow the Tessaract to win but Barton had to get out. Natasha used her last strength and she slapped him hard to shake the Tessarect's control off him. "Get out Clint, now!" she said and pushed him away before bolting down the hall to try by him time.

I smile a little, before glaring at the wall behind her, "Agent Romanoff is trying to free Barton from the Truth." I snarl, then clench my teeth tightly together and march down the hall to where they were. I hold up my hand, creating a forcefield almost effortlessly between the two of them, pushing all of my emotion into it, "When I left you alone, I thought you'd be responsible. I've expanded your mind, and THIS IS HOW YOU REPAY ME?"

I sighed and ran a hand through my hair as he told me about Romanoff. "Well, can't say that I'm surprised. But, we need to get her back under control."

Clint's eyes flickered color, eventually staying with his normal ocean blue, and the ice in his mind broke away. "Natasha?" He whispered as he watched her run, only for both of them to be trapped inside a blue dome. His memories came rushing back, and he marveled at how he was able to think again. Opening his bow and drawing an arrow, he tried to find out what the heck was going on. One moment Nat was talking to him, the next he was being slapped. Then he broke free and...everything was so confusing. "Nat?" He said, his voice rising.

Natasha Romanoff

Natasha attacked Loki jumping straight at him and shoving him to the floor before she grabbed his throat in both of her hands shattering his attention to drop the forcefield so that Barton could run. "Barton if you don't leave now I swear I will kill you!" she shouted still struggling with her own mind to free herself.

I watched as Clint's eyes didn't change back. He was free, and now he was dangerous. Next thing I know Natasha's attacking Loki, her hands around his throat as she shouted at Barton. I snarled, something protective coming over me as I charged Nat, tackling her right off Loki. For a moment we were suspended in the air before coming down hard on the floor. I scrambled to sit up, to face Natasha before she could hurt me. I snarled and whipped out one of my daggers, right in between her and Loki. "It won't be that easy." I hissed.

Before I knew it I was being tackled to the ground, and then whatever had tackled me was being tackled off. I scramble for my staff and get to my feet, glaring, and waving my hand so that a force field formed around the two free-agents. "STOP. Em, sound the alarm. I'll hold them here, and if they try anything they're dead." I hiss, my anger boiling up again and spilling over the edges of my entire existence, completely consuming me.

Natasha tensed her muscles as Emerald smashed into her but even so there was a lot of power behind the attack. "Let him go Loki!." she said and cursed as the forcefield formed around them again. She looked around for some plan before deciding what would go down as the most stupid thing she would do her entire life. She flung herself straight into the tessaract blue force field, come what may, she was going to give Barton the best chance of getting out of here.
