I gave her a smug grin, wrapping my arm around Natasha's waist, "Well that's too bad, isn't it? You see, Natasha has seen the truth, now, and there will be no need for those services of yours where I'm concerned." Double meaning. No need for her to torture her, in the simple sense, but also no need for her friendship. I had Natasha now. She would be my friend... "Now if you'll excuse us-" I look over to Natasha, and worm my way easily into her mind, "Flirt with me. Do something, Romanoff!" I half snap at her.

Natasha didn't even blink an eye as Loki slipped his arm around her waist. Yes sir. she thought and let one of her arms slip around his waist. She leaned over and kissed him before turning to face Emerald smugly. "We have places to be agent, isn't there a job in need of your attention." she said standing tall beside Loki.

I tilted my head a little and smiled at the two. "Well, I best be on my way then. You two have fun, okay?" I said, nodding encouragingly. "Let me just add, you two are adorable together." I giggled and then grinned sweetly before waving goodbye and walking off. As soon as I was past them the grin turned into a scowl and I felt my blood boil. So that's how he was going to act? Using Natasha to try and make me jealous. Pathetic! But maybe what he really wanted had always been Natasha and he just acted like he wanted me to make her jealous. Or maybe he wanted neither of us and was just a disgusting pig. No matter what it was, he was still trying to play some twisted game. Well, two could play a game, so now it was my move. I made my way to the cell where they were keeping Connie and stepped inside. "I hope you remember the way out of here." I hissed, taking off the zip tie that bound her wrists.

Clint felt much better after his walk. His felt nice and clear again, with the cold ice keeping everything crystal clear. This was how things were always supposed be. "Thanks," He told the guards as they let him back inside the building. Almost immediately, he found Natasha and Loki - very very close to each other. While he understood why Natasha was out - he saw her eyes - he didn't understand why they were invading each other's personal space. No, Loki's the ultimate authority. I shouldn't question him. He halted, nodding to both of them.

Natasha watched Emerald walk off without as much as batting an eyelid. Natasha saw Barton and part of her mind started screaming back at the control repulsed by what she had just done but it didn't last long. The control was new and in full strength and it wasn't soon until all her worries where gone, this was the way it should be.

Connie nearly jumped out of her skin when the door swung open. She looked up at Emerald expecting to be struck but instead Emerald did something she thought she would never do, she let her go. Connie rubbed her wrists where the cable ties had cut into them leaving lovely red slices in her skin, both her shoulders were sore and bruised from the awkward position they had been held in for so long. "Emerald what are you doing?" Connie whispered getting to her feet.

I took a step back as Connie stood up and for a moment didn't respond to her question. A little voice in the back of my mind screamed wildly, causing me to question my actions. 'This is wrong! You shouldn't do this! Don't sink down to his level! You may be mortal but you're smarter than this, you have more sense than this. Tie her back up!' I soon shoved the thoughts aside though, my rising anger taking over. "I'm letting you go." I hissed, clenching my hands into fists. "I need to get even with somebody and this is the easiest way I can think of. Now get out before I change my mind."

She's with Loki. Loki. Turning to his boss, he kept his expression cold and calculating like it usually was. "Sir. I was wondering if there were any missions for me."

Natasha nodded to Barton. "Fine Barton." she said looking at him with no expression on her face, every bit the trained agent. She didn't care to ask him about why she wanted him to make Emerald upset.

Connie frowned and got up. "Alright." she said and ran for the door. She bolted down the passageway, the guards had hardly a second to think and she was gone. She burst through the doors and grabbed a car pulling the driver out before speeding off. Bullet fire pelted into the car but it was too late. She sped right through the wire gate smashing most of the car but she didn't car, she was out of here.

I waited until he alarms started blaring before walking out of Connie's cell, smirking and twirling a strand of hair around my finger. "Oops." I said sarcastically to the empty hallway, walking off. I felt better than I had all day. I felt light and mischievously happy and rebellious. It felt perfect.
