Thor walked in with he others, having picked up a glass of champagne from a waiter the moment they got there, his blue eyes already scanning over the women. He chuckled to himself, thinking how much fun tonight would be. With a sip of his drink, he turned to walk towards a group of lonely women when he heard Lisbeth scream. He cringed and then rushed over, shaking his head. "Bruce and Tony are right. Get her to the hospital Steve." he agreed with a nod, truly concerned about Lisbeth. That was, until Connie walked up. Thor was a sucker for blondes. No surprise there, really.

I smiled at Loki, a genuine smile, not the fake ones I use for everything else. "Why, thanks."

Thor leaned forward, elbows resting on the bar, and smirked. "Well, for starters, magic doesn't need to be explained. You just sit back and let it be whatever it wants. It does things that science can't. Can science let you travel to my realm? I don't believe so."

Agent Connie Hart

Agent Hart smiled and nodded, "I suppose not Odinson." she said batting her eyelashes at him. She would have to pick a target and she supposed that he would be an easy target if he thought he was getting lucky. She glanced at Tony before looking back to Thor. "Why don't we go a some place a little more private and you can tell me all out your realm?" she said to Thor with a smile before getting up and allowing him to lead the way.

Thor smirked and glanced over at Tony smugly, wrapping an arm around Connie's waist as he stood up. "That sounds like a good idea. Tony, I'll pay you back for the drinks." he teased before walking off with Connie through one of the less crowded rooms, trying to find one that was mostly empty. "So, what do you want to know?" he asked, looking down at her with a smile.

I nod slowly, and cup her cheek in my hand, "Are you alright, Em?... After the woman died? Kenzie?" I watch her curiously, my brows knitted together in affection and worry. {/insert words}

At first I just raised an eyebrow, wondering why I wouldn't be okay. But then he mentioned Kenzie and I looked down at the ground, fighting to keep a frown off my face. I opened my mouth to say I was fine, but he would know I was lying. There was no point in trying to deny it, he knew everything, or would find out eventually. "She was the only girl here I could trust. She was my friend....and now she's gone." I replied quietly, not able to meet his gaze.

I try not to feel offended, nodding slowly, and barely understanding how she felt. I'd never lost anyone I really cared about. Not really. "I'm your friend." I say, after a moment's awkward pause, then I slowly retrieve my hand from her cheek, offering a sort of smile.

I looked up at him and smiled back softly, warmed inside to know that he really considered me as something more than a work tool. "I know. Thank you." I said sincerely. "And you're mine too."
