"Argue, why?" Scout asked. She and her friends argued too but it was usually about something stupid like a relationship issue and Scout new for a fact that Annie had never even been in a relationship.

Brett shrugged."We're competitive."

"Oh, ok." Scout nodded her understanding, "Fair enough." she added.
She looked back out at the water for a while before looking back at him, "Has Annie ever told you anything about me?" she asked.

"She doesn't really talk about her family and friends,but yeah,she mentioned you."Brett shrugged

Scout thought for a moment longer before asking carefully, "What about me?"

"Nothing much."Brett signed.

[Kingfisher]

"Nothing much?" Scout added, her words directed as a question that said she was I satisfied with his answer.
