"He isn't my dad. I can do what I want," Jaycee grumbled, sighing. She stood up anyway and smiled. "See ya in the arena I guess."

"See ya." he said and kissed her one more time before he walked back to the bathroom to brush his teeth.

Jaycee walked back to her room and got the clothes out. She pulled her hair up and dressed quickly.

Dustin was dressed and walked out of the bathroom. He was fully ready and looked at her,"Glad you slept well." he said and yawned, still slightly tired from the two hours of sleep.

"Are you all right? You sound tired," Jaycee said, raising her brows. She stood as she finished up her hair and turned to look at him. "Did you sleep?"

"I got two hours of it. I was thinking about the games." he lied on the last part. He was thinking about Jaycee and David.

Jaycee smiled a little and walked over to him. She took the necklace he gave her and fastened it around his neck. "When we're separated it should give you some luck. I'll still be there without being there," she said, winking at him and walking back to her bed.

Dustin smiled at her and said,"Thanks Jaycee." he smiled at her and walked to his bed.

Jaycee shrugged and said,"You seem to need it more than I do right now. I have David to keep me safe."

Dustin tried not to react when she mentioned him,"Yeah, you do." he sighed and looked at the time,"It is about time for us to be heading out." he told her.
