Watching her step away he didn't know what that whole thing was about but ignores it and turns to the den. Walking in he announces himself. "Eaglestar, are you in here?" He was pretty sure she was mainly from the soft breathing he heard. "I have something to inform you of."

[[Should we just say it's morning now? It's been dark for a while, and lot of cats went to sleep, so maybe now it could be around dawn?]]

Eaglestar's ears twitched. Soon becoming aware someone was in her den, she opened her eyes, blinking a few times, she struggled to wakefulness. She slowly got to her paws, shaking her head in a halfhearted effort to fix her messy fur. "Yes? What--" she said, pausing to yawn. "Sorry." she apologized quickly. "What is it?" She met September's gaze, her green eyes still sleepy, but quickly becoming more alert.

"Well, ugh-" He said, not quite sure how to tell her. "Well me and a friend went out hunting, and there was a fox not to far out into the brush. It was injured, and most likely scavenging off of us." He didn't know what else to say after that. Mainly because that was really all there was to say.

Eaglestar listened carefully. "Did you fight it? Was anyone hurt?" she asked once he was done explaining.

Nodding his head to both things he said, "I believe Silentcreek was, though she denied it. We also did fight it. Not to much though, just a few swipes and a nip."

Eaglestar narrowed her eyes slightly at the mention of Silentcreek's injury. "Where is she now?" Eaglestar asked. "She should go see Cherrypool, or..." What was Cherrypool's apprentice named again? "Or her apprentice." she said, failing to remember. "Then I'll have to organize a patrol to chase this fox off." she added, speaking mostly to herself.

"Well ugh- I really don't know where she went. Before I came in she said she had some business to deal with. So I let her go" He told her, slightly feeling bad that he did let her go bye herself, since he knew that she had the injury. "Alright," He added, "Is it okay if I'm apart of the team?"

"Of course. You can help me find Silentcreek now, or go tell Winterstripe about what happened, and help him organize a patrol." realizing September had been gone during the ceremony, she added; "Winterstripe is DawnClan's new deputy, if you haven't already heard." Eaglestar led the way out of her den as she spoke, blinking at the sunlight outside. She'd been asleep longer than she'd thought.

"Oh cool, I'll go tell Winterstripe then, and give a congrats." He said as he followed her out and left to go find Winterstripe. "There you are!" He told himself as he trotted over. "Excuse me Winterstripe, but I have some news. A fox has been spotted in the area, and we need to make a patrol"
